Gran Sasso and the Pyramid

What good is a universe without somebody around to look at it?
Robert Dicke

This summer, CERN gave the starting signal for the long-distance neutrino race to Italy. The CNGS facility (CERN Neutrinos to Gran Sasso), embedded in the laboratory's accelerator complex, produced its first neutrino beam. For the first time, billions of neutrinos were sent through the Earth's crust to the Gran Sasso laboratory, 732 kilometres away in Italy, a journey at almost the speed of light which they completed in less than 2.5 milliseconds. The OPERA experiment at the Gran Sasso laboratory was then commissioned, recording the first neutrino tracks.

Now of course most of you know the namesake with which I use to explain, is an aspect of the development of what are "shadows" to many of us, also, reveal a direction with which we know is "illuminated." We are streaming with the "decay path" all the while there is a sun behind us that shines.

Now it is always an interesting thing for me to know that secret rooms can be illuminated, given the right piece of equipment to do the job. Somethings that will stop the process, and others, that go on to give indications of which these "massless particles" can travel.

But no where is the penetration of the pyramidal model more apparent to me, is when it is used to explain the "rise of the colour theory" used on this site, to explain the nature of emotive sufferings, and it's ascensions, with which we can place the "colour of gravity" to it's rightful place. While one can discern the patterns in an ancient philosophical game of chance, what use to explain the underlying structure of abstraction, as we peer into the materiality of the object of this post? Do you know it's inherent geometrical nature, as an expression?

Maybe, this is the Plato in me? Not a criminal "who hides" having perpetrated crimes against humanity, spouting a philosophy that some would pretend hides behind "the garb" of some "quantum cosmology?"

Yes, no where is this measurable in nature at this time, other then to know that a philosophical position is being adopted. It may allow one to understand the brain's workings, alongside of the fluids that emotively run through our bodies. The "eventual" brain development toward it's evolutionary discourse, with the matter distinctions becoming apparent in the brain's structure, may be greatly enhanced in our futures?

This is what is progressive to me about the work of Kip Thorne and Archibald Wheeler, as we look at the experimental processes of gravitational waves and the like, in LIGO. Is this proof of the gravitational waves? Is this proof of the Geon denoted by Wheeler to express, or the bulk, teaming with the gravitons?

An event in the cosmos, allows us, while standing in the decay path of the expression, and as we turn with it, to know that a source can initiate, and allows us to see it's disintegration.

WE are concerned with all the matter distinctions, while beyond this, is the expression of these schematically drawn rooms of energy, as we particularize them into neat boxes(things) for our entangled views, and loss of sight?

To me, such a sun exists at our centres and such analogies, as I have drawn them here is to recognize that such a "heliocentric view" is not the idea behind our observations of the ego distinctions about self in the world, but a recognition of our connection to what pervades all of us, and connects us.

Now this path streams onwards, no different then in the way we move into the materiality of the world we live in. While of course you see the bodies of our expression. You see the "emotive functionings" on our faces, primitive as it can be, as well as, the intellectual abstraction that is part of the inherent pattern of that expression into materiality. The "sun still shines" from that deeper place inside.

Secrets of the PyramidsIn a boon for archaeology, particle physicists plan to probe ancient structures for tombs and other hidden chambers. The key to the technology is the muon, a cousin of the electron that rains harmlessly from the sky.

I am Lost/Not Lost

While the descent into the matters, one tends to loose sight of what is happening around them. Such a thing is the human part of us, as we think we are in the moment.

While one may think they are in this "way station" it is ever the spot that we assign ourselves with or selections and happenings that we are connected too, in ways that are never understood, or looked for, as we progress these views about the reality we live in?

How much farther is our eyesight granted into the materiality of things as we progress ever deeper into nature's structure, to think, this will bring us ever closer to that sun that shines inside?

Lost souls were given directions in the manuals of the ancients to decipher this relationship with the world we live in, so that the understanding about perplexing paradigms that ensue the mind, may be set, "to live life" not to experience it's death. But to prepare that life beyond the limitations with which we assign our perception according to these material things.

Our Consciousness can "Contain the Future?"

I just happen to visit Cosmic Variance yesterday after not visiting for some time. The timing seemed appropriate to my questions about our histories, not only from a detailed research perspective, but from a personal one as well in terms of our memories. I do not care who is an atheist or not. Why should I apply a stereotype to another person and dictate the way the conversation can go?:)

Sean Carroll has a interesting set of four entires about the backwardness of the arrow of time and how it would appear. This is an interesting exercise for me on how perception about the current direction of the universe could have represented "the Egg before the chicken" scenarios.

Incompatible Arrows, I: Martin Amis
Incompatible Arrows, II: Kurt Vonnegut
Incompatible Arrows, III: Lewis Carroll
Incompatible Arrows, IV: F. Scott Fitzgerald

Chicken or Egg

Illustration from Tacuina sanitatis, Fourteenth century See the Blog posting Incompatible Arrows

It is important that one sees where Sean Carroll's mind has been and how the current article in Scientific Magazine reflects the writing in that article. You may read his current article but does one really understand it? You have to take in much more then just the article itself, and yes concepts are assumed here, that others might be on the same page, and again, this is, and has been, my mistake as I seemingly become cryptic I've elevated the correlations in mind.

What came before? Time, becomes asymmetric from some perfect order an this is a higher entropic valuation assigned to equilibrium that has to remain fixed in my mind. So, shall we call it symmetry breaking?

Having pointed out the context of "another universe" the very idea that time can run backwards in that other universe one is safe to consider such things by such appointment?:) S I introduce consciousness because by it's very nature , it will reveal the "mathematical framework" that arises from a "cognitive function" that resides there.

I know over at Stefan and Bee's place, we had talked about this quite a bit and this has induced the questions about time, and all the ideas and information shared, has created the wonder about this subject for me. Not that you shall forget that "symmetry breaking" is part of an assumption too, that what existed at one time has a more perfect substance to it, yet, how could the beginning and end become cyclical if we did not tie up both ends?

The title of this blog post was written because I believe it is possible for our consciousness to be able to go into the future, and while there, see the previews of what shall become an aspect of the soul in it's future developments, based on what it has done now.

I know that people like Bee are becoming bored to tears about Past lives, and the Afterlife, but the philosophy I am sharing is based on the picture of the early Egyptian history, and the Hall of Ma'at.

You did not know that as Plato I was privy to the Egyptian mysteries?:) Okay, just assume so, and once you can grasp the principal of "the heart and feather," Tell me then, how it can be applied to your life. The principles you hold. Then, you come back and tell me, that with this knowledge, why you cannot see the future written? An "assumption" detailed by an organizational ability in your own subconscious puts you into this room. A place and time, with which our apprehensions would dictate the outcome of measure, just by, the retention of being, and becoming.

Where is such a place? Other universes?:) Okay now how indeed such comparative features and a place to stand that I would speak contradictory to what Sean Carroll is saying and all of science? Crackpot possibly:)

Kenn Brown-Scientific America

Does Time Run Backward in Other Universes? by Sean Carroll

Among the unnatural aspects of the universe, one stands out: time asymmetry. The microscopic laws of physics that underlie the behavior of the universe do not distinguish between past and future, yet the early universe—hot, dense, homogeneous—is completely different from today’s—cool, dilute, lumpy. The universe started off orderly and has been getting increasingly disorderly ever since. The asymmetry of time, the arrow that points from past to future, plays an unmistakable role in our everyday lives: it accounts for why we cannot turn an omelet into an egg, why ice cubes never spontaneously unmelt in a glass of water, and why we remember the past but not the future. And the origin of the asymmetry we experience can be traced all the way back to the orderliness of the universe near the big bang. Every time you break an egg, you are doing observational cosmology.

It is easy then for the intellectual mind to be able to grasp, that while Sean has not seen this potential in regards to the "backward arrow of time in other universe" now contained in this one, I would say, that I am introducing this possibility currently, as a function not only of that past which has been written and recorded, but, of the future as well, basing this on the current values of the universe speedinng up.

Decomposable Limits of Definitions

With the discovery of sound waves in the CMB, we have entered a new era of precision cosmology in which we can begin to talk with certainty about the origin of structure and the content of matter and energy in the universeWayne Hu

There are ways in which I have "perceived the landscape" that may be more appealing to one with Bohmian views? The way in which the analogy of sound is used has deep implications not only in the avenues of expression made about the examples herein shown, but with Helioseismology's as well, and the way in which we can interpret the sun as we look at it in a greater depth.

Phil Warnell said...
as chance serves to be nothing other then an incidental cause and relies on the existence of a realm of the “possible” and not one of the “probable”. By the way your mappings of hills and valleys are quite close to this vision as it represents the “wave” as one element of reality in the Bohmian view. All that remains to be added are the particles and the dynamics that exist in the wave that are relayed to or reacted to by the particles. The mystery does not exist only the ignorance and for some the truth of it being so.

It's an exercise for me to look back over the ideas that had been going on in my mind, and observations being made about "energy stored" in a system. One would never have realized the similarities that "Colour of Gravity" implies, accepting the wave nature of the particle could have given perspective on the idea of consequence as we live our lives. Function humanly possible and the depth of these actions more tangible and though being subtle in the idea of a wave, has given matter states a place to reside given nodal definitions, just as the modular forms do, as they reside in the valleys.

How is it one sees in terms of Lagrangian views when you look out into space now that such congregation of the graviton gathered for it's exemplary views on the nature of vibration.

A Chladni plate consist of a flat sheet of metal, usually circular or square, mounted on a central stalk to a sturdy base. When the plate is oscillating in a particular mode of vibration, the nodes and anti-nodes set up form a complex but symmetrical pattern over its surface. The positions of these nodes and anti-nodes can be seen by sprinkling sand upon the plates;

Potential

* The mathematical study of potentials is known as potential theory; it is the study of harmonic functions on manifolds. This mathematical formulation arises from the fact that, in physics, the scalar potential is irrotational, and thus has a vanishing Laplacian — the very definition of a harmonic function.
* In physics, a potential may refer to the scalar potential or to the vector potential. In either case, it is a field defined in space, from which many important physical properties may be derived.
o Leading examples are the gravitational potential and the electric potential, from which the motion of gravitating or electrically charged bodies may be obtained.
o Many entities in physics may be described as vector fields, but it is often easier to work with the corresponding potentials as proxies for the fields themselves. For instance, some force fields exert forces on a body equal to the product of the field and some invariant scalar property of the body, such as the mass or charge. As a body moves through such a force field, it rises and falls in the field's potential, gaining and losing energy through mechanical work. This exchange of energy allows the interaction to be analyzed in terms of simple laws of conservation of energy, without resorting to kinematics, which can be computationally difficult.
o In electrochemistry there are Galvani potential and Volta potential.
o The gravitational field is a notable example of such a field. The electric field also behaves this way in many cases, though in the general case it does not (see Electric potential and Faraday's Law).
* Specific forces have associated potentials, including the Coulomb potential, the van der Waals potential, the Lennard-Jones potential and the Yukawa potential.

Dr. Jenny's cymatic images are truly awe-inspiring, not only for their visual beauty in portraying the inherent res-ponsiveness of matter to sound (vibration) but because they inspire a deep re-cognition that we, too, are part and parcel of this same complex and intricate vibrational matrix -- the music of the spheres! These pages illumine the very principles which inspired the ancient Greek philosophers Heraclitus, Pythagoras and Plato, and cosmologists Giordano Bruno and Johannes Kepler.

Potential Energy

Potential energy is the energy which is stored. Potential energy exists when there is a force that tends to pull an object back towards some original position when the object is displaced. This force is often called a restoring force. The phrase 'potential energy' was coined by William Rankine.[1] For example, when a spring is stretched to the left, it exerts a force to the right so as to return to its original, un-stretched position. Or, suppose that a weight is lifted straight up. The force of gravity will try to bring it back down to its original position. The initial steps of stretching the spring and lifting the weight both require energy to perform. According to the principle of conservation of energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed; hence this energy cannot disappear. Instead it is stored as potential energy. If the spring is released or the weight is dropped, this stored energy will be converted into kinetic energy by the restoring force — elasticity in the case of the spring, and gravity in the case of the weight.

The more formal definition is that potential energy is the energy of position, that is, the energy an object is considered to have due to its position in space. There are a number of different types of potential energy, each associated with a particular type of force. More specifically, every conservative force gives rise to potential energy. For example, the work of elastic force is called elastic potential energy; work of gravitational force is called gravitational potential energy, work of the Coulomb force is called electric potential energy; work of strong nuclear force or weak nuclear force acting on the baryon charge is called nuclear potential energy; work of intermolecular forces is called intermolecular potential energy. Chemical potential energy, such as the energy stored in fossil fuels, is the work of Coulomb force during rearrangement of mutual positions of electrons and nuclei in atoms and molecules. Thermal energy usually has two components: the kinetic energy of random motion of particles and potential energy of their mutual positions.

As a general rule, the work done by a conservative force F will be

where ΔPE is the change in the potential energy associated with that particular force. The most common notations for potential energy are PE and U. It is important to note that electric potential (commonly denoted with a V for voltage) is not the same as electric potential energy.

We can't actually hear gravational waves, even with the most sophisticated equipment, because the sounds they make are the wrong frequency for our ears to hear. This is similar in principle to the frequency of dog whistles that canines can hear, but are too high for humans. The sounds of gravitional waves are probably too low for us to actually hear. However, the signals that scientists hope to measure with LISA and other gravitational wave detectors are best described as "sounds." If we could hear them, here are some of the possible sounds of a gravitational wave generated by the movement of a small body inspiralling into a black hole.

    That Mysterious Flow

That Mysterious Flow by Paul Davies This is a follow up post to the article Andrew Thomas presented for Bee article at Backreaction, "Every Now and Then."

It would have been nice to be able to see the content of the blog commentaries which are allowing pictures to greatly enhance the product and visual effect of our examples. Or, to consider Snap that would allow this comment to open in another window, as you hover over the link. For to display this using snap is a easy way of making the blog commentary more visual as well.

But onto what I would like to speak too, as Paul Davies wraps up his article.

Here's the thing, if the culminating aspect and integration of all conceptual principles are given a wide berth then the idea here is to see that the "product of time," is elevated to the aspect given to a "gravitational perspective" I have assigned to colour.

Enrique thinks Time is an Illusion too.

At 12:34 AM, May 04, 2008, Blogger Enrique said...
The way of our brain to know about that wavelength is that redness experience which cannot be communicated. I'm not saying that qualia do exist. What I say is that our brain handles that color information in such a way that creates this subjective experience. The same happens with sound. Althought soud is fully described physically by the speed, frequency, amplitude and shape of the wave in some media, we cannot figure out how it "sounds" until we acutally listen it. Same goes with temperature or odors. This doesn't mean that the world out there doesn't exist or that only exists in our mind. However all the perceptions that reach our brain have an existence that we consciously accept and I would say that that is the part consciousness plays here. We perceive that time flows and that is our brain's way to know about time.

The idea here then is to point to two aspects that are related to how we see consciousness as playing a part in the measure of time. One that Paul Davies did recognize that there is no "time organ in our brains,"( as yet) and, Enrique points to the subjective nature of the integration aspect I find in relation to this conceptual synthesis.

Left alone the subjective nature of our impressionable memory stores this information, and out of it "the scheme" is the mathematical basis which I have applied to the "mind mapping scheme" that goes on.

Part of the reductionist aspect of following the information is to go "backwards in time" in this subjective cognitive fashion, and trace the human experiential aspect of the daily living, and what the mind captures in it's recording. While this is being accomplished in the most subtle fashion of our thinking, the nature of the experience catalyst's itself into the pool of the collective unconscious of the soul.

Whether one would think we are limited to this life alone, there is a greater reservoir that we tap into at this point. While probabilistic in it's scenario(which life), the function is still less the the fashion I point to in the future, and it's causations relevant to that which follows in that presentation of the now, is, fastidiously in it's representations.

This is how I point to the "self referential loop" that the solidification and concretion's of our thought structures become a oscillatory reduction of the projection to the mapping of the schema. Who you are now.

The Future and past are connected.

They manifest through you and whether one would argue the illusionist facet of this proposal, it is the understanding that we are "limited by our perspective." While Enrique, moves to a "synthesis" is far from complete without understanding how the product of time is moved beyond the current perceptions housed.

The developing mapping that goes into the "Colour of Gravity" is the understanding that this coordinate space(configuration space) holds within it not only Boltzman's brain, but the understanding of the unification toward a fifth dimensional perspective.

Since the Lab model is a three dimensional model, it can only be represented properly in a three dimensional space.

While only a two dimensional representation above points to a map that must be given to gravity, as we look at the "Lagrangian aspect of the cosmos" it could also include the "space of the mind" which we operate in. It has become multi-dynamical living space, as we explore the solidification processes reduced to the biological functions of the human body. As we explore the phase conditions of the matter states. Emotive , intellectual and spiritual in it's breadth, is a much more subtle aspect of the "whole thinking being?"

    The Map

What is the energy behind it, that it can manifest within your mind, and it then becomes this eternal puzzle of life? Remove all it's colour then, and we see the geometrics of its construction. This is the Scheme with which I point as we move to understand the full scope of this puzzle called life, and all it's expressions.

It was important that the understanding of consciousness connect to that eternal reservoir of life, we can come in contact with that very centre. So this is the idea I have about the connection between the past and the future. That while life is given to this frame of reference, the ultimate aspect of the life is but parcel of a much greater flow of energy that goes on within the divinity of the soul in expression.

The manifestation, is the recognition that the energy passes through from the soul's creation in this life time, to the living of this life. Such patterns that manifest within the context of the mind's pursuit is the recognition then of the energy packet contained in the puzzlement itself, that is offered for the reintroduction introspective search for greater meaning in this life, comes with, what we had learnt previously.

The future then is the greater puzzlement, that it lies open to the multitude of "fractal images" that manifest within the mind, as it tries to come to terms with all it's aspectsof the human condition transformed into human experience.

    The Toposense of Spacetime

    Topo-Greek, from topos, place.

    Basic Examples
In the early 1960s Grothendieck chose the Greek word topos (which means “place”) to denote a mathematical object that would provide a general framework for his theory of étale cohomology and other variants related to his philosophy of descent. Even
if you do not know what a topos is, you have surely come across some of them. Here are two examples:
See: What is a Topos? by Luc Illusie

Of course I am looking and trying to describe "Topo" in a different way. I do not want to diminish the significance of the mathematical intents. Just the realization of what we are doing with our perceptions, as we send them to extraordinary depth of of creation.

In 1952, in his book Relativity, in discussing Minkowski's Space World interpretation of his theory of relativity, Einstein writes:

Since there exist in this four dimensional structure [space-time] no longer any sections which represent "now" objectively, the concepts of happening and becoming are indeed not completely suspended, but yet complicated. It appears therefore more natural to think of physical reality as a four dimensional existence, instead of, as hitherto, the evolution of a three dimensional existence. Albert Einstein

Of course it was necessary to understand the evolution of Euclidean geometries to the non-euclidean, and the history associated with this. The word "Toposense" is one that becomes endearing when you realize that if your were to take to the meaning of "slide of light to heart" you would see the implications of what gravity could mean in the presence of the photon and it's explanatory revolutionary ideas about how it can encourage "Gravities Rainbow" here within context of this blog.

"On the Effects of External Sensory Input on Time Dilation." A. Einstein, Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, N.J.

Conclusion: The state of mind of the observer plays a crucial role in the perception of time.

Unfortunately the link to the article below( now shows as Intuitively Excellent) has been removed from Scientific America's data base or has changed, or, I may of copied it wrong in my search. Nevertheless, I do not have the link, but would like to conclude the remark above, in terms of those pointed out for further repercussions of that conclusiveness.

Einstein scholars disagree, but the pretty girl/hot stove experiment also may have led to another of his pithy remarks, namely: "If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?" Then again, Einstein was a bit of a wag. Consider his explanation of wireless communication: "The wireless telegraph is not difficult to understand. The ordinary telegraph is like a very long cat. You pull the tail in New York, and it meows in Los Angeles. The wireless is the same, only without the cat." This quote reportedly kept Schrödinger awake well past his bedtime.

    Summing over Histories?

So how does all this come together into a physical theory? It turns out that the proper procedure is to construct every possible diagram allowed by the theory (for a given state of input and output particles and how they're moving) and add up the corresponding complex numbers. The result is essentially the "wave function" for that specific input-output state combination, and by squaring that number you can determine the probability that the given input will result in the given output. Doing that is how theorists at particle accelerators earn their keep.
See: An Introduction to String Theory by Steuard Jensen

So you look at the basis of interactions that Feynman produced in his Toy models and having some insight to the elemental consideration of those same interactions, what comes out, if we were to see the world in such a way, that continuity of expression is "the Wave that was generated in the very beginning," could have been reduce to some refractive expression of all life. The Spectrum, Hydrogen, or other wise.

Do we then know the nature of the source, that we are all derivatives of some coherent plan that manifests toward the "cyclical nature of being?" Some Shakespearean version of, "to E or not to E?"

Every known particle has an antiparticle; if they encounter one another, they will annihilate with the production of two gamma-rays. The quantum energies of the gamma rays is equal to the sum of the mass energies of the two particles (including their kinetic energies). It is also possible for a photon to give up its quantum energy to the formation of a particle-antiparticle pair in its interaction with matter.

No longer Reducible and Working from the Horizon?

How far can our perceptions be pushed? Can consciousness still remain as part of this "ability of creation," that we are still "part and parcel" of it to consider it's full scope?

So no geometrical idealizations in sight, other then to consider the significance of a place that is far removed from our looking to the cosmos, and while thinking about it, how far it has been reduce to a fuller picture of it's reality?

    Blackhole Information Paradox

What good is a universe without somebody around to look at it?
    Robert Dicke

John Archibald Wheeler (born July 9, 1911) is an eminent American theoretical physicist. One of the later collaborators of Albert Einstein, he tried to achieve Einstein's vision of a unified field theory. He is also known as the coiner of the popular name of the well known space phenomenon, the black hole.

There is always somebody who is the teacher and from them, their is a progeny. It would not be right not to mention John Archibald Wheeler. Or not to mention some of his students.

COSMIC SEARCH: How did you come up with the name "black hole"?

John Archibald Wheeler:It was an act of desperation, to force people to believe in it. It was in 1968, at the time of the discussion of whether pulsars were related to neutron stars or to these completely collapsed objects. I wanted a way of emphasizing that these objects were real. Thus, the name "black hole".

The Russians used the term frozen star—their point of attention was how it looked from the outside, where the material moves much more slowly until it comes to a horizon.* (*Or critical distance. From inside this distance there is no escape.) But, from the point of view of someone who's on the material itself, falling in, there's nothing special about the horizon. He keeps on going in. There's nothing frozen about what happens to him. So, I felt that that aspect of it needed more emphasis.

It is important to me to understand some of the history of the Blackhole, and the students who went on to develop the very ideas around them. To see how they interconnect at one time or another, to provide for the very insights from such gatherings.

    Stephen Hawking’s says:

“Roger Penrose and I worked together on the large scale structure of space and time, including singularities and black holes. We pretty much agree on the classical theory of theory of relativity but disagreements began to emerge when we got into quantum gravity. We now have different approaches to the world, physical and mental. Basically, he is a Platonist believing that’s there’s a unique world of ideas that describes a unique physical reality. I on the other hand, am a positivist who believes that physical theories are just mathematical models we construct, and it is meaningless to ask if they correspond to reality; just whether they predict observations.”
( Chapter Six-The Large, the Small and the Human Mind-Roger Penrose-Cambridge University Press-1997)
    See: Phil Warnell's comment.

    Black hole information paradox

Whereas Stephen Hawking and Kip Thorne firmly believe that information swallowed by a black hole is forever hidden from the outside universe, and can never be revealed even as the black hole evaporates and completely disappears,

And whereas John Preskill firmly believes that a mechanism for the information to be released by the evaporating black hole must and will be found in the correct theory of quantum gravity,

Therefore Preskill offers, and Hawking/Thorne accept, a wager that:

When an initial pure quantum state undergoes gravitational collapse to form a black hole, the final state at the end of black hole evaporation will always be a pure quantum state.

The loser(s) will reward the winner(s) with an encyclopedia of the winner's choice, from which information can be recovered at will.

Stephen W. Hawking, Kip S. Thorne, John P. Preskill
    Pasadena, California, 6 February 1997

Drawing Credit: XMM-Newton, ESA, NASA-Image sourced from: Pictured above is an artist's illustration of a black hole surrounded by an accretion disk.

The black hole Information Paradox results from the combination of quantum mechanics and general relativity. It suggests that physical information could "disappear" in a black hole. It is a contentious subject since it violates a commonly assumed tenet of science—that information cannot be destroyed. If it is true, then cause and effect become unrelated, and nothing science knows, not even our memories, can be trusted.

    Before the Big Bang

Professor Sir Roger Penrose, OM, FRS (born 8 August 1931) Before the Big Bang

Three Different Views of Quantum Weirdness
    (and What It Means)

A: According to the orthodox view of quantum mechanics, called the Copenhagen interpretation, a system (represented here by a child’s block) does not occupy a definite state or location until it is measured. Before then it is just a blur of overlapping possibilities.

B: The many worlds interpretation insists that the system occupies all its possible states but that every one of them exists in its own alternate universe. Each universe sees one state only, which is why we never observe the block in two states at once.

C: In Penrose’s interpretation, gravity holds our reality together. In each potential state, the block generates a separate gravitational field. Over time, the energy required to maintain these multiple fields causes the block to settle into one state only—the one that we observe.

See:If an Electron Can Be in Two Places at Once, Why Can't You-by Tim Folger, Photograph by David Berry, Illustrations by Don Foley?

"In Penrose’s interpretation, gravity holds our reality together. In each potential state, the block generates a separate gravitational field.....," rings with a certain importance when one talks about what happens with the very nature of the blackhole. What happens to that information.

Phil Warnell:However, if the second is taken as truth and all is remembering, then what can the force of gravity do to a memory that is not in any, yet of all?

I tried to implement a method by which one could "gauge the significance of the emotive experience" as it may pertain to that "primitive part" of our nature. That we could see "remembering" had been assigned a "quantum reductionist state" within the confines of that methodology?

"The block," while holding different gravitational defined consciousness states, had to settle to a strong emotive consolidating force from that experience. You repeatedly relive the experience, while current information saids that the memory can change. See Ledoux.

    God the Geometer

Let proportion be found not only in numbers, but also in sounds, weights, times and positions, and whatever force there is.Leonardo Da Vinci

Vitruvian Man by Leonardo da Vinci.
Leonardo is clearly illustrating Vitruvius De Architectura 3.1.3 which reads:

The navel is naturally placed in the centre of the human body, and, if in a man lying with his face upward, and his hands and feet extended, from his navel as the centre, a circle be described, it will touch his fingers and toes. It is not alone by a circle, that the human body is thus circumscribed, as may be seen by placing it within a square. For measuring from the feet to the crown of the head, and then across the arms fully extended, we find the latter measure equal to the former; so that lines at right angles to each other, enclosing the figure, will form a square.
De Architectura, VitruviusFirst Milanese period 1481/2 - 1499

The first printed edition of the De Architectura (On Architecture) by the ancient Roman architect, Vitruvius, appears.

It is never easy sometimes to know what direction to go with these blog posts. What is being shown on the "screen of my mind" is a painting of Leonardo, and along with this idea about Coxeter's insight into what the geometer is really doing when he discovers aspects of what exists before it's manifestation in reality. As if, it is not enough to know what the Higg's is doing as it crosses the room in analogy with the great Professor Einstein.

Science takes us back to the very beginnings of the universe and how it is we know that such phases and transformational changes can be described, and behind it all, there is not some existing geometrical nature to the forms that manifest?

So from an historical perspective, the image set the pace for what discoveries become part of the blog entry. Who is to know what direction this may take me as I scour the internet and find the following.

    Music

According to Leonardo, the musician composes harmony by the simultaneous conjunction of its “proportional parts”. The painter “grades the things before the eye as music grades the sounds that meet the ear”. On Ms. L. Fol 79v. Leonardo investigates sound and tries to establish strict mathematical proportions between the loudness of a sound at its origin and its range, the point in space up to which it can be heard. This “pyramidal law” was seen as a universal law of proportion that could be applied to other natural phenomena such as light, perspective and even mechanics.

Leonardo’s pyramidal law of proportional diminution did not always lead to fruitful conclusions. In the absence of knowledge of advanced mechanics, he attempted to apply it to the investigation of gravity, noting that every falling object acquires increments of impetus. He was obviously unaware of the Merton “mean speed theorem” which states that a body traveling at constant velocity will cover the same distance in the same time as an accelerated body if its velocity is half the final speed of the accelerated body.

Undeterred, Leonardo investigated the actions of levers, pulleys and balances at length according to medieval proportional laws, illustrating endless demonstrations of harmonic equilibrium. While most of the results had no practical purpose, Leonardo seems to have taken delight in demonstrating the certainty of proportional law for its own sake. Perhaps it confirmed his view of the inter-connectedness of all things in nature, which he so often disproved in the course of testing theory with experiment.

Pyramidal colourings of our Emotive States

Photo RM -Hervé Lewandowski / Thierry Le Mage- Make Mona Smile here.

As you know I am using a comparative view of emotions which are much more subtle then the matter to which we assign our body. Earth is square. Plato points to heaven for a reason, and all things descend according to those things we assign emotive value which return to the matters defined. Alas, the human experience is emotive determined and our lives set in the direction we send it. All matters of due course, are heralded from a much finer level of thought.

As many of you know I am not the great scientist that so many I follow are. Who have spent their times in the higher halls of learning. It is no less important to me that I work to the same vein of truth that they do in their pursuances for understanding and implementation of science under it's laws.

So too I work an area that would have been the decline of our scientist's credibility. The scientists who have suffered under the scorn of their own colleagues because of this divergence from what is known and understood. I do not have to worry, because I already work the lower echelon of the thoughts and feeling about those scorned. My immaturity perhaps and wonderment as to what purpose this lone blogger attempts, and I could be past off as some kook. I persevere, as we all do to understand life, reality and it's truths.

    Brain Matters

    Felix Christian Klein1849 - 1925
"Thus, in a sense, mathematics has been most advanced by those who distinguished themselves by intuition rather than by rigorous proofs."

We know the substance of the matters that house our thinking minds. How much more ethereal is the "thinking mind" if it is only subject to the neuronic thinking brain? The "field of endeavours and thoughts" could be moved to geometrical thinking of a kind that would measure the surface of abstract thinking model Earth?

The dimensional thinking here shows the depth of the thinking mind from it's matter to that of something more profound. Einstein revealed this thinking in an accumulative effect of incorporation, not only the Gaussian Arcs, but of what our thinking could mean in terms of the "lensing quality of planets in space."

So you look at the earth in a new way. This elevation of thinking is what general relativity has done when we think of the abstract geometrical modelling produced for our consumption. Sets the mind to thinking in terms of new paradigms.

    Klein's Ordering of Geometries
A theorem which is valid for a geometry in this sequence is automatically valid for the ones that follow. The theorems of projective geometry are automatically valid theorems of Euclidean geometry. We say that topological geometry is more abstract than projective geometry which is turn is more abstract than Euclidean geometry.

It is the elevation in thought of what gravity can mean when it is very strong, that, what was satisfiable in the euclidean realm, is not so good anymore for looking at what the non-euclidean could represent. Then, a progression of the geometries into new realms of thinking. How so, if gravity is so strong inside the blackhole? There currently no geometries at present that can speak to the nature of the blackhole?

On planet Earth, we tend to think of the gravitational effect as being the same no matter where we are on the planet. We certainly don't see variations anywhere near as dramatic as those between the Earth and the Moon. But the truth is, the Earth's topography is highly variable with mountains, valleys, plains, and deep ocean trenches. As a consequence of this variable topography, the density of Earth's surface varies. These fluctuations in density cause slight variations in the gravity field, which, remarkably, GRACE can detect from space.Gravity 101

So the journey here is to define the space of thinking mind that while ethereal in it's production of matter orientated functioning, is subject to a much finer mode of measure.

For instance energy at any one point could have been define on the basis of 1R, but on a surface what value this energy if it does not describe that surface in space as a dynamical feature beyond the matter s defined?

    Mapping the Pathway Inside

Although [God] did make use of the relevant auxiliary causes, it was he himself who gave their fair design to all that comes to be. That is why we must distinguish two forms of cause, the divine and the necessary. First, the divine, for which we must search in all things if we are to gain a life of happiness to the extent that our nature allows, and second, the necessary, for which we must search for the sake of the divine. Our reason is that without the necessary, those other objects, about which we are serious, cannot on their own be discerned, and hence cannot be comprehended or partaken of in any other way.
    Plato

I am not in any way here to argue the historical context that the image above has taken in all that we see in National Geographic or in the articles of archaeological significance. I am using this image in another way that you might not of considered before.

I have given concepts with which one can entertain ideas in relation to what happens from a mandalic, Liminocentric and Mind Mapping sequence of events that will allow certain things to unfold within one's own life? A foundational approach to see the circumstance of life beyond what is just found in the physical reality of the body. Beyond the workings of the physiological sequences of emotive and mental happenings, that "these could have amounted to beyond the realm of the understood."

Imagine for one moment, that the very surface of this sphere, is the sudsy oil based colourations, shimmering from one place to the next, is our mental and emotive states. Our mind (The brain), and it trappings hold the colouration of our reality in way that is not understood. But that colouration is beyond the matters that define the mind itself. Beyond the matters of the brain itself.

So I will "paint the colours of my reasoning for you" to understand the concepts I am putting forth. The conceptual valuations are a culmination of the person trying to organize all that they know in a pictorial sense, that we could see the mind of a Feynman or Dirac, whose skill had come forth? Can come forth in any of you.

It is important then that what you had always seen of earth from space, is more the truth of it, that the gravity now takes hold of this vision and helps you to understand it's place in the universe? While we focus on it's matters we see Grace has been mapped according to the measures used in that sense. I find this correlation of significance when we learn to see the emotive and mental states as such. I still recognize the matter the brain as I do the earth as a matter of fact too.

Is it organizational then that we might reveal aspects within one's own self that we learn to discover certain things about our very own nature. It does not exult us in any way to realize that when you had decided to become comfortable with who you are, that you get the thread that runs through all things for you. That you learn to see who you are in face of all the circumstances that unfold within the span of years from one place to the next? Life continues as it always has. We are just trying to perfect our understanding of who we are in face of all that has to take place for our living in this world.

Where is my home? Why all this travelling from one place to the next, and not finding who it is that speaks through all the information and meetings that take Place. What value all of this and we see we are the accumulation of time spent here and there.

So I gave a structure of a kind to help you understand something about the way I have learnt to see life. It is only a map given that saids what you have to do may have been found useful to help continue your own journey. Something that awakens something in you to say I am happy now that I have found who it is through those times. How I am through all the adversities of living that at the end of that day, who is it that sums all that had taken place?

That is your last judgement of things, that the weight of the feather and heart become symbolized in the scale weighting the feather of truth to your very own heart. Truth then becomes something of a clarifier to what you hold most dear at the same time, put in front of you the ideal with which you shall live. If you can honestly say you have lived your life to your expectations, then what had you accomplished?

    Removing the Veil

"Death, so called, is but older matter dressed
In some new form. And in a varied vest,
From tenement to tenement though tossed,
The soul is still the same, the figure only lost.
" Poem on Pythagoras, Dryden's Ovid.

Benjamin Franklin in his epitaph call it an overcoat we put on, and the summation of this is the accumulation of life and all it trappings and wondering. How simple of any of us to think it is the "actual overcoat" when we know the deeper resonance such epitaph can make of one's entire life. As if, the life were a "book of a kind." With death to come the realization of an worn out cover.

"As to you, Life, I reckon you are the leavings of many deaths, No doubt I have died myself ten thousand times before." "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman

So while the understanding prevails us, what use this metaphorical language for any of us but to see that what starts off as the matter and order of things, had some geometrical presence before it become the model it did.

So you see the brain in the sphere. You see the "gravitational model of the earth" within the confines of of the sphere of development. No where had I yet explained the triangle and face of the pyramid. Should one use it as vertical line of reasoning, that the top of that line should direct the mind to a heaven, or for those of lore to the stars above?

Listen careful then as to the face of the pyramid shown. The foundational aspect is it's base, and, is earth. The face of this pyramid is used to colour the valuations of gravity in it's strength and weaknesses. Is used, to describe the mental and emotive states of being, from a matter orientated understanding of the matter( that based) to the every colouration of the mental and emotive states themself.

    Inside Out

3.1 As Cytowic notes, Plato and Socrates viewed emotion and reason as in a kind of struggle, one in which it was vitally important for reason to win out. Aristotle took a more moderate view, that both emotion and reason are integral parts of a complex human soul--a theory proposed by Aristotle in explicit opposition to Platonism (De Anima 414a 19ff). Cytowic appears to endorse the Platonic line, with the notable difference that he would apparently rather have emotion win out.

I am trying to "create a image" that will use the one above. It is important that the select quoted comment below is understood. This can't be done without some reference.

So while the exercise may be going on "inside" things are happening on the outside. Scientists have never been completely honest with themselves, while some may concern themselves with whose name said what?

I use Plato as a namesake obviously, because of what I saw of some of our influential minds speaking, all the while making inferences to Plato. When ever you read something that resonates with you, it is of value because it correlates to something that you already know. This is what I tried to get across in the previous post, about what is "self evident." Little do some people recognize that while I may have inferred the point of some philosophical foundations, it is not without recognizing that the "qualitative phrases" have to be reduced as well to a logic. To reason.

How do you do that? Well I'll tell you what I found and then you can think whether I understood reason in it's proper format. Whether I understood the "shadows of Plato" to mean something other then what could have been interpreted as being wrong. What is that analogy of the Cave really mean?

Our attempt to justify our beliefs logically by giving reasons results in the "regress of reasons." Since any reason can be further challenged, the regress of reasons threatens to be an infinite regress. However, since this is impossible, there must be reasons for which there do not need to be further reasons: reasons which do not need to be proven. By definition, these are "first principles." The "Problem of First Principles" arises when we ask Why such reasons would not need to be proven. Aristotle's answer was that first principles do not need to be proven because they are self-evident, i.e. they are known to be true simply by understanding them.

Yes I did not enter the halls of higher learning in the traditional ways. You can converse for many years, does not mean you become devoid of the lessons that spoken amongst the commentors. How is it you can think that while listening to scientists you cannot uncover the the processes they use? If I had given thirty years to study, what exactly had I studied? I am a doctor of nothing.:)

This is a torus (like a doughnut) on which several circles are located. Unlike on a Euclidean plane, on this surface it is impossible to determine which circle is inside of which, since if you go from the black circle to the blue, to the red, and to the grey, you can continuously come back to the initial black, and likewise if you go from the black to the grey, to the red, and to the blue, you can also come back to the black.

My quote at Backreaction on this and that, reveals not only part of the understanding gained through this "infinite regress," but also the understanding we have with the world around us. Some would be better served to see the image of the Klein bottle, but I wanted to show what is going on in a "abstract way" to what is happening inside of us, and at the same time, what is happening outside.

I had used the brain and head as a place of our conscious awareness within context of our environment, our bodies. The topological explanations of the numbers above, and used them in the next paragraph. There will be confusion with the colour lines, please disregard that.

While I talked of the emotive and mental realities. I included the spiritual development in the end. The way this interaction takes place, is sometimes just as the mental function(yellow). Other times, it is the emotive realization of the experience. It is coloured by our emotion(red).

While we interact with our environment, there is this turning inside out, continuously. Sometimes we may say that "1" is the emotive realization, while the number 2 is seen as a mental extension of the situation. While the areas overlap each other, an outward progression may mean that the spiritual progress is numbered 4, while the interaction of the emotive, mental and spiritual progression may be number 3. Ultimately the spiritual progression is 4 (Violet). All these colours can mix and are significant in themself. They reveal something about our very constitution.

While some may wonder how could any conceptualization ever integrate the "Synesthesia views" of the world when it sees itself presented with such a comparison? The journey of course leads to the "Colour of Gravity." Discard your body, and one will wonder about the "clear light." What it means, in the "perceptive state of existence." If one is prepared, then one shall not have "to much time on their hands" getting lost in the fog.

Plato and Aristotle, Up and Down by Kelley L. Ross, Ph.D.

Rafael has Plato pointing up and Aristotle gesturing down to indicate the difference in their metaphysics. For Plato, true existence is in the World of Forms, in relation to which this world (of Becoming) is a kind of shadow or image of the higher reality. Aristotle, on the other hand, regards individual objects in this world as "primary substance" and dismisses Plato's Forms -- except for God as a pure actuality, without matter.

However, when it comes to ethics and politics, the gestures should be reversed. Plato, like Socrates, believed that to do the good without error, one must know what the good is. Thus, we get the dramatic moment in the Republic where Plato says that philosophers, who have escaped from the Cave and come to understand the higher reality, must be forced to return to this world and rule, so that their wisdom can benefit the state. Aristotle, on the other hand, says that the "good" is simply the goal of various particular activities, without one meaning in Plato's sense. The particular activities of most human affairs involve phronésis, "practical wisdom." This is not sophía, true wisdom, for Aristotle, which involves the theoretical knowledge of the highest things, i.e. the gods, the heavens, and God.

Thus, for philosophy, Aristotle should point up and would represent a contemplative attitude that was certainly more congenial to religious practices in the Middle Ages. By the same token, Aristotle's contribution to what we now think of as science was hampered by his lack of interest in mathematics. Although Aristotle in general had a more empirical and experimental attitude than Plato, modern science did not come into its own until Plato's Pythagorean confidence in the mathematical nature of the world returned with Kepler, Galileo, and Newton. For instance, Aristotle, relying on a theory of opposites that is now only of historical interest, rejected Plato's attempt to match the Platonic Solids with the elements -- while Plato's expectations are realized in mineralogy and crystallography, where the Platonic Solids occur naturally.

Therefore, caution is in order when comparing the meaning of the metaphysics of Plato and Aristotle with its significance for their attitudes towards ethics, politics, and science. Indeed, if the opposite of wisdom is, not ignorance, but folly, then Socrates and Plato certainly started off with the better insight.

It is good that you go to the top of the page of the linked quotes of Kelley L. Ross. You must know that I developed this site without really understanding the extent Mr. Ross had taken this issue. There is much that is familiar, and with him, an opposing view too.

The Other Side of the Coin

Susan Holmes- Statistician Persi Diaconis' mechanical coin flipper.

In football's inaugural kickoff coin toss, the coin is not caught but allowed to bounce on the ground. That introduces an extra complication, one mathematicians have yet to sort out.

    Persi Diaconis See here.

    The Ground State

There is always an "inverse order to Gravity" that helps one see in ways that we are not accustom too. The methods of "prospective measurements" in science have taken a radical turn? Satellites as a measure, have focused our views.

While one may now look at the "sun in a different way" it had to first display itself across the "neutrino Sudbury screen" before we knew to picture the sun now in the way we do. It was progressive, in the way the sun now forms a picture of what we now know in measure.

So you try and bring it all together under this "new way of seeing" and hopefully your account of "the way reality is," is shared by others who now understand what the heck I am doing?

To get a simple physical understanding of what the acoustic oscillations are, it may be helpful to change the perspective. Normally, the common way of presenting the phenomenon has been in terms of standing waves where the analysis is done in Fourier space. But the baryon-photon fluid really is just carrying sound waves, and the dispersion relation is even pretty linear. So let’s instead think of things in terms of traveling waves in real spacehttp://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:xLcnPGO6BDQJ:cmb.as.arizona.edu/~eisenste/acousticpeak/spherical_acoustic.ps+Fourier+space+when+I%27m+thinking+about+sound.&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=1&gl=ca-Steward Observatory, University of Arizona
    c 2005

"Uncertainty" has this way of rearing it's head once we reduce our perspective to the microscopic principals(sand), yet, on the other side of the coin, how is it that only 5% of mass determination allows us to see the universe mapped in the way it has in regards to the CMB?

There is this "entropic valuation" and with it, temperature. Some do not like the porridge "to hot or to cold," with regards to "living in a place" within the universe.

So I'll repeat the blog comment entry here in this blog so one can gather some of what I mean.

At 2:56 AM, December 11, 2007, Plato said...
As a lay person with regards to the complexity of the language(sound)and universe, it is sometimes reduced to "seeing in ways that are much easier to deal with," although of course, it may not be the same for everyone?:)

:)Something good science people "do not want to hear?"

    Good link in html.

The launching of the sound waves is very similar to dropping a rock in a pond and seeing the circular wave come off (obviously that a gravity wave, not a compressional wave, but I’m focusing on the geometry). The difference here is that the area where the “rock” entered is still the most likely region to form galaxies; the spherical shell that it produced is only carrying 5% of the mass.

Hopefully, this demystifies the effect: we’re seeing the imprint of spherical sound waves launched from the sites of dark matter overdensities in the early universe. But also I hope it makes it more clear as to why this effect is so robust: the propagation of sound in the baryon-photon plasma is very simple, and all we’re doing is measuring how far it got.

"Mapping," had to begin somewhere. Whatever that may mean, one may think of Mendeleeev or Newlands.

Generally Grouping Order increases the density of objects within a frame of reference, resulting in a more pronounced single object.

"Sand with pebbles" on a beach? It had to arise from someplace?

The other side of the Coin is?

This recording was produced by converting into audible sounds some of the radar echoes received by Huygens during the last few kilometres of its descent onto Titan. As the probe approaches the ground, both the pitch and intensity increase. Scientists will use intensity of the echoes to speculate about the nature of the surface.

    and not to be undone.

Mass results in an increase in the gravitational force exerted by an object. Density fluctuations on the surface of the Earth and in the underlying mantle are thus reflected invariations in the gravity field. As the twin GRACE satellites orbit the Earth together, these gravity field variations cause infinitesimal changes in the distance between the two. These changes will be measured with unprecedented accuracy by the instruments aboard GRACE leading to a more precise rendering of the gravitational field than has ever been possible to date.

    Layman pondering.

So now that you have this "comprehensive view" I have gained on the way I am seeing the universe. You can "now see" how diverse the application of sound in analogy is. It is helping me to develop the "Colour of Gravity" as a artistic endeavour. I refrain from calling it "scientific" and be labelled a crackpot.

    A Synesthesic View on Life.

Who knows how I can put these things together and come up with what I do. Yet, it had not gone unnoticed that such concepts could merge into one another, and come out with some tangible result as a "artistic effort." Some may be used to the paintings of Kandinsky(abstract), yet the plethora of imaging that unfolds in the conceptual framework might have been self evident, from such a chaotic mess of the layman's view here?
