The Foundation of Reality?

I had been on this pathway a long time to ask the question of what lays at the very foundation of our reality.  I was intrigued by Plato's solids to wonder if this was the first attempt to describe the nature of reality as it is?

The Planck scale is the universal limit, beyond which the currently known laws of physics break. In order to comprehend anything beyond it, we need new, unbreakable physics See: The Planck Scale

I was constraint then to know that what lies beyond the Planck scale to say what if anything could we measure that we could call the item of dissertation as a particulate of this reality,  then becomes the materialist function I choose to describe reality,  as it is.

Thomas Young (13 June 1773 – 10 May 1829)

But more then this, an experiment speaks to me about what the idea is that once I as a detector look at what the photon is doing through the Double slit experiment, is to cancel out the wave function. So some may say,  on observation,  I create the the foundation of this reality by observing?

Interstellar: Traversing the Wormhole

The story has a premise with which to share an idea and if it is intriguing to the average mind, then how much more so when a scientist entertains it? He or she might even propose a way in which to use measure with regard to the subject of a black hole?:)
But later I found out more about wormholes, and learned about “topological censorship.” It turns out that if energy is nonnegative, Einstein’s gravitational field equations prevent you from traversing a wormhole — the throat always pinches off (or becomes infinitely long) before you get to the other side. It has sometimes been suggested that quantum effects might help to hold the throat open (which sounds like a good idea for a movie), but today we’ll assume that wormholes are never traversable no matter what you do. Do We Create the Reality by Observing

SeeD Magazine

Zeilinger and his group have only just begun to consider the grand implications of all their work for reality and our world. Like others in their field, they had focused on entanglement and decoherence to construct our future information technology, such as quantum computers, and not for understanding reality. But the group’s work on these kinds of applications pushed up against quantum mechanics’ foundations. To repeat a famous dictum, “All information is physical.” How we get information from our world depends on how it is encoded. Quantum mechanics encodes information, and how we obtain this through measurement is how we study and construct our world.Do we create the world just by looking at it?

Interesting question and article by Seed Magazine.

Entanglement and the New Physics

I have to go back and look at this subject carefully to get a sense of what is going on in Lubos Blog(will supply proper link later).

It is possible to entangle two photons that have never interacted before by using two down-conversion sources and then subjecting one photon from each entangled pair to a Bell-state measurement. This causes the other two photons, which have never interacted, to become entangled.

We have engineered an entangled state made of two atoms and the cavity mode. The entanglement is produced in a succession of controlled steps addresssing the particles individually. The sequence is fully programmable and could be configured to produce any quantum state. We have chosen here to prepare a triplet of entangled particles of the GHZ type. The entanglement has been demonstrated by experiments performed in two orthogonal basis. The procedure can, in principle, operate on larger numbers of particles, opening the way to new fundamental tests of quantum theory.

Test of the Quantenteleportation
over long distances in the duct system of Vienna

Quantum physics questions the classical physical conception of the world and also the everyday life understanding, which is based on our experiences, in principle. In addition, the experimental results lead to new future technologies, which a revolutionizing of communication and computer technologies, how we know them, promise.

In order to exhaust this technical innovation potential, the project "Quantenteleportation was brought over long distances" in a co-operation between WKA and the working group by Professor Anton Zeilinger into being. In this experiment photons in the duct system "are teleportiert" of Vienna, i.e. transferred, the characteristics of a photon to another, removed far. First results are to be expected in the late summer 2002
