We are , What Stars are Made of?

One thing I can tell you, though, is that most string theorist's suspect that spacetime is a emergent Phenomena in the language of condensed matter physics Edward Witten

Imagine indeed, that such a picture below is an approximate of how our Milky Way Galaxy would appear to the distant observer.

"It is remarkable and ironic that this ferocious "mother of all explosions" involves the lowly neutrino, an elementary particle that seems otherwise to be the most inert and inconspicuous of all particles. Out blast the neutrinos, taking with them all of the outer matter of the star, the new synthesized elements producing a brilliant flash of light of many millions of times brighter than all the stars shining within a single galaxy. The outer shell of the body of the Titan, containing all the elements from hydrogen to iron, is blown into space. A dense, spinning neutron star or perhaps a blackhole, the tiny remnant of the pure neutron core of the Titan with a mass greater than that of our Sun, is left behind."1

I was a little perturbed by how scientists themself assuming 5% of the world population would think that such congregations must be "held to themself" and their "sphere of communications." These communications are based on what 20% of the world population currently sees in Internet communications worldwide, would relegate "this figure of 5%" much narrower, to a figure allotted to "internet viability and population reached by those are really see less then 5%." This will change as the Internet viability and population increase. An expanding market then sought by Magazines to take on board "Blogging groups?"

We show that any massive cosmological relic particle with small self-interactions is a super-fluid today, due to the broadening of its wave packet, and lack of any elastic scattering. The WIMP dark matter picture is only consistent its mass M ≫ MPl in order to maintain classicality. The dynamics of a super-fluid are given by the excitation spectrum of bound state quasi-particles, rather than the center of mass motion of constituent particles. If this relic is a fermion with a repulsive interaction mediated by a heavy boson, such as neutrinos interacting via the Z0, the condensate has the same quantum numbers as the vierbein of General Relativity. Because there exists an enhanced global symmetry SO(3, 1)space × SO(3, 1)spin among the fermion’s self-interactions broken only by it’s kinetic term, the long wavelength fluctuation around this condensate is a Goldstone graviton. A gravitational theory exists in the low energy limit of the Standard Model’s Electroweak sector below the weak scale, with a strength that is parametrically similar to GN.2
"

So, your of this group who sought to sell themself to Discovery Magazine, and forfeit(?) all posts and topics as an article of some extrapolation from the ARxiv to the "select only," the few? What was achieved then by the lone scientist, when he sought to exemplify his work on the http://arxiv.org and by chance of discussion sell all their days pondering as work of the future to a magazine?

If you open with a question(?) with something that is very public, you have to consider what market you are extending yourself too, by thinking to ignore public contribution under the guise of this Magazine's presentation of authors. A forum?

A Job possibly? Money to allow them the comforts of spreading good cheer amongst the populations? Imagine, if the population was ever to see "this advance" of bought scientists to mine only what it shall transpire for "new information" for that magazine, by only the inclusion of their trade associates. "Shall you as scientists resist then" such a corporate takeover, and exemplify yourself to denouncing such a corporate structure limited to communications away from the public?

George Musser while scouring the archives and forums for his stories at least sought to contribute to the stories as they unfolded for the public through magazine subscription, then to "mine by incentive, a detach impetus for "new information" about what the stars are made up of. What remnants are left to insight the reader, to think that gravity was formed by evidence of some relics and only held in the scientists mind?

Ancient Notion of "Matter Four Squared" Called Earth

Foursquare-adj
1. Having four equal sides and four right angles; square.
2. Marked by firm, unwavering conviction or expression; forthright: a foursquare refusal to yield.

I thought to define the nature of foursquare by definition. It was not very easy to find such a definition as to what was thought in my mind a relation to the ancient notion I have of earth. Definitively expressed, and coordinated into a frame.

To see such a relation to the operation of the "endocrinology of the human body" in such a form would be to steer the modern day notion of such a framework, to deal with what Antonio Dammasio might have call a "powerful metaphor for consciousness, for the birth of the knowing mind."1." A stepping onto the stage under the light, or "being born" into the world.

Such use of nature would not be unseen in this relation to think "the leaf" has this quality about it in relation to the sun, or the bee, can have such an affect on those around them by such releases of the hormone.

15th Century Manuscript by Bartholomeus Anglicus, on the Property of Things

On the Property of Things

The work was written for the use of students and the general public, in Latin in 19 books at the school of Magdeburg in Saxonia[4]. A number of copies exist both in manuscript and in printed form. Bartholomew carefully notes the sources for the material included, although, at present, it is sometimes impossible to identify or locate some of them. His annotations give a good idea of the wide variety of works available to a medieval scholar.

The subjects of the books, in order, are God, angels (including demons), the human mind or soul, physiology, of ages (family and domestic life), medicine, the universe and celestial bodies, time, form and matter (elements), air and its forms, water and its forms, earth and its forms including geography, gems, minerals and metals, animals, and color, odor, taste and liquids.

While I cannot say I have ever read these manuscripts, it was insightful that one could see the preceding idea here about "all knowledge" that one might contain in book form to explain the nature of reality as it was known at that time, became the forerunner of Encyclopedia as we know it today.

Some of the ideas I have about this come from my many journeys into books I have read over the years. Some of us are indeed nostalgic about what we can hold in our hands versus the newer technologies that have supplanted the book. How it connects us to it's subject and it's author.

Change, is hard thing to overcome when it comes to adapting to new technology and how we have always done things. But as the "ole dinosaurs of comfort" and the less likely to adapt to new circumstance, the challenge is then to see how the world in Wikipedia and the Librarian sought to reference information that we assume now quite easily, as we reference by linking, and using the source as information.

It is strange as well that while setting the framework for presenting these ideas I have develop and encountered, helped to set my mind on how I see the world. How it is "shaped" by "very simple identifications" to such objects that I have assigned a reality, according to that schematic embedded as a geometry mind mapped and expressed.

It is so diverse the subject of the human being that to identify all the abilities of the human being in such an expression is beyond the scope and intention of this entry, that regardless, I thought to reveal what it is in the most "innate of us" as we express ourselves in our daily encounters.

Mind Matters

This is a definitive expression then of all the likely avenues one might take and this leads one to think a certain way and this in itself forms the basis of exchange with the world around us and the people we are involved in. Our empathetic relation based on formative ideas about our experiences and the emotive content that has been injected into the matter defined world as a set process for the mind and it's ultimate realization of what consciousness plays, as we set firm this relation.

You can be from another country and philosophy as being instrumental in this explanation, by be explicative of the way you lived, and the way the world was experienced around you. Thus to such an experience may be set to mind that such formation of these matters might be define in by the weight with which we assign density in the form of elemental relation in thought and how firm this definition is in relation to such mind matters.

So with such inclination to the possibility of what consciousness can become what value then to see that such mater defined in mind might play an importance in the way we see the world and the way the world responds, to such a "spirit of kind" that it be "more gross in it's manifestation" and held to the evolutionary aspects of the body formed, that it could ever be more then what we might think it really is?

Shall we have no hope then that the spirit is of kind in consciousness nothing more then the animal , that one sought to express the spirit more in conscious, then that we thought so gross? That such an ability in consciousness can ever see such changes that the earth formed can not have it's finer elements to say, that the world is defined by the nature of these elementals, and nothing more?

The Money Trust

TO THE JOKER:

HERE I HOLD A GOLD COIN

What a false illusion thou art to human mind ! How cruelly thou deceivest thy possessor and those who covet thee ! Thou buyest for me by thy betrayal of mankind. Thou didst tax my energy to gain thee, and thy discount has lost to me and my fellow-men the greatest blessings of a continent, as well as the principal products of our toil. Few indeed are they who know and understand thy seductive power. We shall expose thy falseness so that our children shalt not be deceived by thee.
General Observations-Charles Lindbergh,
Banking and Currency and the Money Trust

What has been transpiring in the economy as of late is a wonderful exercise for me.

When you see the credibility of scientists and an economist open themselves to scrutiny "to wonder", if they are just replaying the inevitable and not really offering anything new?

The market prices of commodities vary from day to day and often several times a day. This occurs when there is no radical difference in the proportion of the supply and the natural demand. This fact is conclusive proof that our system is controlled by manipulators and fundamentally wrong. I have sought to elucidate this problem within this volume and have suggested a plan which, if adopted, would make the people the master of the world, instead of the present master—THE MONEY TRUST.

I am repeating the article the article here for consideration.

Is it more astonishing that a God created all that exists in six days, or that the natural processes of the creative universe have yielded galaxies, chemistry, life, agency, meaning, value, consciousness, culture without a Creator. In my mind and heart, the overwhelming answer is that the truth as best we know it, that all arose with no Creator agent, all on its wondrous own, is so awesome and stunning that it is God enough for me and I hope much of humankind.
BEYOND REDUCTIONISM: REINVENTING THE SACRED

Stuart Alan Kauffman (28 September 1939) is an US American theoretical biologist and complex systems researcher concerning the origin of life on Earth. He is best known for arguing that the complexity of biological systems and organisms might result as much from self-organization and far-from-equilibrium dynamics as from Darwinian natural selection, as well as for proposing the first models of Boolean networks.

Kauffman presently holds a joint appointment at the University of Calgary in Biological Sciences and in Physics and Astronomy, and is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Philosophy. He is also an iCORE (Informatics Research Circle of Excellence) [1] chair and the director of the Institute for Biocomplexity and Informatics.

BEYOND REDUCTIONISM

See:Reinventing the Sacred: A New View of Science, Reason, and Religion (Hardcover)

Well now, I have followed the work of those whose ultimate destination has been by seeking results from LHC as to the nature of some Higg's field that would bring together an organizational effort to the particle of nature. Now I should be much clearer here just as Stuart Kauffman should.

Higgs Fields

A Higgs field (named after a Scottish physicist Peter Higgs) is a field supposed to be responsible for the genesis of inertial mass (and, because of Einstein's equivalence principle, gravitational mass). When the universe is extremely hot, a Higgs field (which is supposed to have a certain curve of potential energy; as regards the shape of this curve, there is no unique consensus, except for a certain general feature, among the physicists) exerts a wild influence; but we will neglect this here. Once the universe cools down enough, below a certain temerature, the Higgs field assumes a certain value (i.e. a value of the Higgs field) which corresponds to the lowest energy level (i.e. the potential energy is zero, but the value of the Higgs field is nonzero; this level may be called vacuum). And this energy level continues to prevail throughout the whole universe (uniform, nonzero Higgs field).

So here I am alone thinking about this self organization that goes on and I picked out Stuart Kauffman's book because I know that such a view is garnered by the likes of Lee Smolin, that it presents a challenge for me.

Been at it long enough to know there are opposing views and methods to determination that shall judge one's approach as too the "nature of reality." I am not going to go into the definition of this nature of reality but to assume that such a definition will become apparent in the selection of this title and the consequence of choosing Stuart's book. My reasons for expanding here under this title of the new Garden of Eden.

How it it that I could ever compare the very nature of the "Arch Model" to the insightful development of us as participants in the nature of reality that we could shape our destines and not think us less then a participant in this adventure called life.

At 9:15 AM, August 18, 2008, Blogger Plato said...
Experimentally, this became a basis for exploration which implanted experimental choice departures from euclidean space, which is flat.

This was a mathematical adventure of "pure thought" toward the process of interpreting this mathematics in the natural world.

How could one say the experimental process was first when such thought had to exist? It had to already exist in nature for us to test the theorization by definition.

So we emulate the process by experimentation. Oh sweet "spooky action at a distance?"

One should not think that such an avenue of research had not taken me down this road in regards to spooky, that I would not have adventured too, entanglement, or scattering amplitudes, that I would not of looked at Young's experiment and thought about the photon's travel. The combination or how calorimeters have been used to discern this interaction in the decay process.

Has Reductionism run to it's limit?

This is what Stuart Kauffman did not realize when thinking about reductionism or what Robert Laughlin spoke of toward the idea's of self organizational attributes of those things that gather, while we take them apart. It's not that they ever came to a definition of this limit, but tried to explain reductionism away, by the introduction of new ways, new approaches.

The Keystone

ON one side of this arch is an approach to Reductionism, and on the other, is emergence. The keystone, is the Equivalence principal.

Zeitgeist the Addendum

I am interested in what people think of this Movie.

For me it is the issue of differences between a monetary system, and a resource based system. The Resource Based system was held in my mind, much more relevant to the way the world should be going. If your of an opposing opinion why would you think the monetary system is better over the resource based one?

See:Zeitgeist the Movie
Also see:Zeitgeist: Addendum on Google Video

Welcome to the Official Site for 'Zeitgeist, the Movie' (2007) & its sequel 'Zeitgeist: Addendum' (2008). Since the emergence of the project in late June, 2007, many other websites, organizations and posts have fallaciously claimed connections to the works. Please note that these two productions are our only media expressions.

Likewise, Zeitgeistmovie.com and its developing activist site:TheZeitgeistMovement.com are the only web entities we have produced.

'Zeitgeist, The Movie' and 'Zeitgeist: Addendum' were created as Not-for-Profit expressions to communicate what the author felt were highly important social understandings which most humans are generally not aware of. The first film focuses on suppressed historical & modern information about currently dominant social institutions, while also exploring what could be in store for humanity if the power structures at large continue their patterns of self-interest, corruption, and consolidation.

The second film, Zeitgeist: Addendum, attempts to locate the root causes of this pervasive social corruption, while offering a solution. This solution is not based on politics, morality, laws, or any other "establishment" notions of human affairs, but rather on a modern, non-superstitious based understanding of what we are and how we align with nature, to which we are a part. The work advocates a new social system which is updated to present day knowledge, highly influenced by the life long work of Jacque Fresco and The Venus Project.

I am not after encouraging sheep but of opening the door to a creative faucet of experience that is promoted to one of sharing and not one that caters to fear.

The economy needs to be looked at under a "different light" in order that we see what has happened. So that we may free ourselves from the illusions we have fallen under. I am not advocating cultist idealizations here but a truthful look at what we can do to change the way we want this planet to go.

Operational Definition Regressed to the Arts

It is necessary at this time to show that such a procedure evolved here in Dialogos of Eide had to be taken to be interpreted as a an acceptance and assumption of the way the world "is" according to scientific elaborations given in the interpretation of the "back ground."

For example, the weight of an object may be operationally defined in terms of the specific steps of putting an object on a weighing scale. The weight is whatever results from following the measurement procedure, which can in principle be repeated by anyone. It is intentionally not defined in terms of some intrinsic or private essence. The operational definition of weight is just the result of what happens when the defined procedure is followed. In other words, what's being defined is how to measure weight for any arbitrary object, and only incidentally the weight of a given object.

When observe and held in face of the scientific valuation and spoken to in the science world, the veritable conceptual acceptance of any model is its amalgamation into the way one would move into the world. This is a bold step, because you have accepted the way in which such a proposal has been put forward to demonstrate how one may now see the world.

Operational definitions are inherently difficult — arguably, even impossible — to apply to mental entities, because these latter are generally understood to be accessible only to the individual who experiences them and are therefore not independently verifiable. According to this line of thinking, a person's mental image of a brick cannot be operationally defined because it cannot be measured from outside that person's mood. Philosopher Daniel Dennett has argued that first-person operationalism is possible and desirable, using the anthropological version of the scientific method to bring the mind fully into the third-person realm required by science. As part of the Multiple Drafts Model of consciousness, Dennett defines a process he calls heterophenomenology, by which the mental is defined operationally in terms of the observed behavior of the subject.

Held in relevance to use of the word background it is necessary to consider the depth and potential of the human being in light of the bulk perspective assigned to that background to demonstrate that the depth and generation of the human interaction is more defined by more then just the compartmentalization assigned to human action.

Ir was necessary in my own mind to recognize the greater foliation of the response to stimuli as a governing factor in the emotive expressions of the human endeavour then just to let it r,main as a consequence without a possible course of direction, as an effect.

Heterophenomenology ("phenomenology of another not oneself"), is a term coined by Daniel Dennett to describe an explicitly third-person, scientific approach to the study of consciousness and other mental phenomena. It consists of applying the scientific method with an anthropological bend, combining the subject's self-reports with all other available evidence to determine his or her mental state. The goal is to discover how the subject sees the world him- or herself, without taking the accuracy of the subject's view for granted.

Heterophenomenology is put forth as the alternative to traditional Cartesian phenomenology, which Dennett calls "lone-wolf autophenomenology" to emphasize the fact that it accepts the subject's self-reports as being authoritative. In contrast, heterophenomenology considers the subject authoritative only about how things seem to him or her.

In other words, heterophenomenology requires us to listen to the subject and take what he or she says seriously, but to also look at everything else available to us, including the subject's bodily responses and environment, and be ready to conclude that the subject is wrong even about his or her own mind. For example, we could determine that the subject is hungry even though he or she doesn't recognize it.

The key role of heterophenomenology in Dennett's philosophy of consciousness is that it defines all that can be — or needs to be — known about the mind. To quote Dennett, "The total set of details of heterophenomenology, plus all the data we can gather about concurrent events in the brains of subjects and in the surrounding environment, comprise the total data set for a theory of human consciousness. It leaves out no objective phenomena and no subjective phenomena of consciousness."

Dennett stresses that heterophenomenology does not dismiss the first-person perspective, but rather brackets it so that it can be intersubjectively verified by empirical means, allowing it to be submitted as scientific evidence. This can be seen by how heavily heterophenomenology relies on adopting the intentional stance toward subjects.

The Library

AS some of you know, earlier, I made reference to a new blogging place that I was working on that I may be moving too. The idea here is that the current blogging place called, "Dialogos of Eide" only reflects the work to materializing ideas that I have had about "information and the back ground" that it supplies for a philosophy that was developing from very "ancient ideas" in regard to not only to Plato, but of the thoughts about the Pythagoreans that has stayed with me throughout as well.

How unscientific it may seem that I have taken a long journey through many science blogging sites to learn of what makes a scientist, to see the behaviour throughout that industry, to have it reflect more the general population, then to say that it sits alone, as a 5% representative of what most do not look at or even concern themself from a general societal point of view.

It is well known the procedural methods adopted to say that herein then, I move forward with the developmental artistic valuation I have assign this new endeavour to illustrate what some may say is subjective in regard to only what scientists can offer in an essay, to say that Einstein's thoughts actually carried some weight with me.

Larry Page in Support of White Space?

The United States 700 MHz FCC wireless spectrum auction was started by the FCC on January 24, 2008 for the rights to operate the 700 MHz frequency band in the United States. The details of process were the subject of debate between several telecommunications companies, including Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and startup Frontline Wireless, as well as the Internet company Google. Much of the debate swirled around the "open access" requirements set down by the Second Report and Order released by the FCC determining the process and rules for the auction. All bidding must be commenced by January 28 by law. The auction was named Auction 73.[1]

It is one of these things that has been going on for a while now without the public really being aware. While the idea is sound in terms of "opening this technology with new possibilities," you should be fundamentally aware that this resource is a public one, and has been sold in auction by a Canadian government to encourage rural connections? It raised 12 Billion dollars.

How does this help your pocket book? It doesn't. It provides for more possibilities for the White space Coalition to advertise their wares.

A vote for broadband in the "white spaces"Posted by Larry Page, Co-Founder and President of Products

All eyes are on the presidential election today, but another important vote just took place at the Federal Communications Commission. By a vote of 5-0, the FCC formally agreed to open up the "white spaces" spectrum -- the unused airwaves between broadcast TV channels -- for wireless broadband service for the public. This is a clear victory for Internet users and anyone who wants good wireless communications.

The FCC has been looking at this issue carefully for the last six years. Google has worked hard on this matter with other tech companies and public interest groups because we think that this spectrum will help put better and faster Internet connections in the hands of the public. We also look forward to working with the FCC to finalize the method used to compute power levels of empty channels adjacent to TV channels (we have a number of public filings before the commission in this area and it is a vital issue in urban areas).

I've always thought that there are a lot of really incredible things that engineers and entrepreneurs can do with this spectrum. We will soon have "Wi-Fi on steroids," since these spectrum signals have much longer range than today's Wi-Fi technology and broadband access can be spread using fewer base stations resulting in better coverage at lower cost. And it is wonderful that the FCC has adopted the same successful unlicensed model used for Wi-Fi, which has resulted in a projected 1 billion Wi-Fi chips being produced this year. Now that the FCC has set the rules, I'm sure that we'll see similar growth in products to take advantage of this spectrum.

As an engineer, I was also really gratified to see that the FCC decided to put science over politics. For years the broadcasting lobby and others have tried to spread fear and confusion about this technology, rather than allow the FCC's engineers to simply do their work.

Finally, I want to applaud and thank FCC Chairman Kevin Martin, the other commissioners, and the FCC Office of Engineering and Technology for their leadership in advancing this important issue. And, thanks to the more than 20,000 of you who took a stand on this issue through our Free the Airwaves campaign, the FCC heard a clear message from consumers: these airwaves can bring wireless Internet to everyone everywhere.

This was the battle between Microsoft and Netscape under the title of the Cathedral and the Bizarre by Eric Raymond now in book form. It wasn't so sometime ago when I read of this history under a Macopinion.com link.

I think as a citizen of this country it would be a progressive move in face of the FCC in the United States decision, that the White Space that will connect communities should be a free one in terms of the internet. No where does Larry Page reveal this, and no where does Microsoft who is coming on board, reveal this as well?

So here's the idea.

Open source is a software application. What I am proposing is a "open source hardware application" that allows you to connect to the internet for free. If you can access it, then why should you pay for it? Did you ever pay for the signal when you were using your Rabbit ears? Charged for the utility of the phones in your home that are cord free?

I would like any comments here to this idea opened up for discussion while you become informed as to what has happened while we were sleeping. Testing procedures used to verify "no interference" then become the model for integrating and developing the connection to the airwaves for future free internet.

Corinthian bronze

“ Man is the most composite of all creatures.... Well, as in the old burning of the Temple at Corinth, by the melting and intermixture of silver and gold and other metals a new compound more precious than any, called Corinthian brass, was formed; so in this continent,--asylum of all nations,--the energy of Irish, Germans, Swedes, Poles, and Cossacks, and all the European tribes,--of the Africans, and of the Polynesians,--will construct a new race, a new religion, a new state, a new literature, which will be as vigorous as the new Europe which came out of the smelting-pot of the Dark Ages, or that which earlier emerged from the Pelasgic and Etruscan barbarism.”

Ralph Waldo Emerson, describing American Culture as a melting pot in a journal entry, 1845

So of course this brings to mind the historical reference to those "better angels," that the metal of women/men and the idea of a silver and gold in society."Plato made clear that merit and not heredity defined the gold man and that gold could be found in all parts of society." See:Plato and Justice

Abraham Lincoln-First Inaugural Address-Monday, March 4, 1861

I am loath to close. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.

Where are those whose insight can be formative to a "better ideal?" Shall it not begin inside this "melting pot" from an idea, to then recognize that such an application can set minds to see cultures whose demise has been moved to another arena for change? It is nopt to allow the distortions and appeal of the ole ways to rule the minds of those who are ready for change to be unshackle from the chains that bind one from seeing the applicability of the sun in our lives.

A crucible is a cup-shaped piece of laboratory equipment used to contain chemical compounds when heating them to very high temperatures. The receptacle is usually made of porcelain or an inert metal.
Use in Ash Content Determination

Ash is the completely unburnable inorganic salts in a sample. A crucible can be similarly used to determine the percentage of ash contained in an otherwise burnable sample of material such as coal, wood, or oil. A crucible and its lid are pre-weighed at constant mass as described above. The sample is added to the completely dry crucible and lid and together they are weighed to determine the mass of the sample by difference. The crucible, lid, and sample are then fired to constant mass to completely burn up the sample, leaving behind only the completely unburnable ash. After cooling in dryness, the crucible, lid, and remaining ash are weighed to find the mass of the ash from the sample by difference. The fraction of ash (by mass) in the sample is determined by the dividing the mass of the ash by the mass of the sample before burning, which is done by subtracting the weight of the crucible and lid from the figure of the container, lid, and sample.

Walking through the ruins, would set my mind to what existed, and what no longer exists. Did we not calculate "the change over time." Did we not understand the citadels that were built then while very physical , has now become unknown symbols of the past and stand as reckoning of a civilization that has long dissipated and has become part of the collective unconscious of our societies.

It is more then that the "character of the woman/man then become the idea of what falls away, and to see beyond the limitations that an ole society may have imbued in those times, that we saw too then, that our mothers, grandmothers, were indeed one of those better angels under the adversities of the times.

WIFI and Spectrum

A free public Wi-Fi access point

Wardriving is the act of searching for Wi-Fi wireless networks by a person in a moving vehicle, using a portable computer or PDA.

Software for wardriving is freely available on the Internet, notably NetStumbler for Windows, Kismet or SWScanner for Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFly BSD, and Solaris, and KisMac for Macintosh. There are also homebrew wardriving applications for handheld game consoles that support Wi-fi, such as sniff_jazzbox/wardive for the Nintendo DS, Road Dog for the Sony PSP and Stumbler for the iPhone. There also exists a mode within Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the Sony PSP (wherein the player is able to find new comrades by searching for wireless access points) which can be used to wardrive.

A map of Seattle's Wi-Fi nodes, generated from information logged by wardriving students in 2004.

In December 2004, a class of 100 undergraduates worked to map the city of Seattle, Washington over several weeks. They found 5,225 access points; 44% were secured with WEP encryption, 52% were open, and 3% were pay-for-access. They noticed trends in the frequency and security of the networks depending on location. Many of the open networks were clearly intended to be used by the general public, with network names like "Open to share, no porn please" or "Free access, be nice." The information was collected into high-resolution maps, which were published online

Congrats to whitedice, who managed to accumulate a million located new-to-WiGLE networks.. *by himself*! I, for one, welcome our new cyborg nethugging overlord.

White Space

While existing companies control access to the internet it is with some contention that I see people regardless of the portal created through to internet access should have "free access" to this. Currently Governments hold the rights to auction so anything that is derived or sold by the government rightfully belongs to the people.

White space in telecommunications refers to unused frequencies in the radio waves portion of the electromagnetic spectrum.

National and international bodies assign differing frequencies for specific uses, and in some cases license the rights to these. This frequency allocation process creates a bandplan which in some cases for technical reasons assigns white space between used bands to avoid interference. In this case, while the frequencies are unused they have been specifically assigned for a purpose.

As well as this technical assignment, there is also unused spectrum which has either never been used, or is becoming free as a result of technical changes. In particular, the planned switchover to digital television may free up large areas between 54MHz and 698MHz. Various proposals including those from the White Spaces Coalition suggest using this bandwidth to provide broadband Internet access. However, these efforts may impact wireless microphones and other technologies that have historically relied on these frequencies.

It is with some insight then that if this is currently free then such attempts to build new devices to access this without using current patented technologies would then be invited under the auspice of a open source and competitive standard to allow such an expression by the peope?

The White Spaces Coalition

The White Spaces Coalition consists of eight large technology companies that plan to deliver high speed broadband internet access beginning in February 2009 to United States consumers via existing 'white space' in unused television frequencies between 54-698 MHz (TV Channels 2-51). The coalition expects speeds of 10 Mbyte/s and above, and 50 to 100 Mbyte/s for white space short-range networking.[1] The group includes Microsoft, Google, Dell, HP, Intel, Philips, Earthlink, and Samsung Electro-Mechanics.

Foundational Issues

Mathematics Problem That Remains Elusive — And Beautiful By Raymond Petersen

Dyson, one of the most highly-regarded scientists of his time, poignantly informed the young man that his findings into the distribution of prime numbers corresponded with the spacing and distribution of energy levels of a higher-ordered quantum state
See:Riemann Hypothesis: A Pure Love of Math

One will argue of course how such a natural thing can arise out of numbers and we see the Pascalian triangle as providing an encounter with probabilistic interpretations as our fortunes in the selection of scenarios. How natural then is siuch a progression to say the Fibonacci numbers are chosen this time in the connstruct of matter defined world?

But I should warn you, I think beyond the capabilities of experiment here to include a look into dynamics that are "not scientifically recorded in the human being," but hold to the understanding that "such resonances exist" just as well as numbers and spaces are allocated in relation to these jumps.

See: Foundational Perspectives Also see:PLATO:Mathematician or Mystic ?

If one were to look a little deeper into the essence of any home, one might find elements of Plato's own Academy hidden here to suggest, that the self accounting that goes on, might have been preceded by the pursuance of bringing a healthy response to the future in regard to that "universal language." This resides very deeply in the unconscious plethora of images that are revealed to the awareness of the observant mind and it's dealings with society.

It has always been of some difficulty that I could get to one the "whole image in mind" to say it is complete, that to follow ALONG with what I am saying, had to preclude with some ground work first, before I could draw along those who better understand now, the full scope of what I am saying. It would indeed have been better that such a flash could indeed "take the time of all the work" then to have to endure pieces being selected and focused on, without the understanding of the language that is presented here. It requires enormous patience, and the endurance of ridicule to move beyond these limitations.

It has also some "dimensional aspect" in it's development, so I thought this might help those who are working Euclidean coordinates, may help to seal this process in some way, by being introduced to house construction.

Plato and Justice

A just society must be governed by men of reason.Inventing a new social myth to replace the old. Socrates calls those who rule for the benefit of the whole society and not to it's detriment golden men: in his myth they rightfully govern the men of silver and bronze.
This is the myth of metals(415a ff.) the centrepiece of a second accusation that has dogged Plato through the centuries. Plato made clear that merit and not heredity defined the gold man and that gold could be found in all parts of society. Nonetheless, Plato has never escaped the charge that he imposes upon society an elitist and authoritarian rule. The charge is pressed even though in Book IV Plato makes justice in the individual the condition of justice in society.
--Pg 16, Para 2 and 3, of Plato the Republic Introduction by Richard W. Sterling and William C. Scott.

Plato prove that justice does not depend upon a chance, convention or upon external force. It is the right condition of the human soul by the very nature of man when seen in the fullness of his environment. It is in this way that Plato condemned the position taken by Glaucon that justice is something which is external. According to Plato, it is internal as it resides in the human soul. "It is now regarded as an inward grace and its understanding is shown to involve a study of the inner man." It is, therefore, natural and no artificial. It is therefore, not born of fear of the weak but of the longing of the human soul to do a duty according to its nature.
Plato's Concept Of Justice: An Analysis Bold was added by me for emphasis.

There is something extremely important about this term that comes from understanding it at a soul level then to think its administering is implied as external and there after, settles all accounts from what was done by telling lies stealing etc. It is an account expressed by Cephalus, Polymarchus, Thrasymachus and Glaucon, while Plato is the understanding of justice to imply it as a "human virtue' that makes a person self-consistent and good."

If the heart was free from the impurities of sin, and therefore lighter than the feather, then the dead person could enter the eternal afterlife

Now these are ancient notions about justice. It is something much more, when you understand what happens inside. What happens when you review your position to ask whether or not the heart is indeed "lighter then the feather." In these situations that one may extend themself beyond the issues of science here, to include the extensions of what is happening out there in our economies and our social institutions. It is very important to understand what the feather represent in that culture(truth) that would depict the plate for consideration, in line with, the concepts of Plato and what I feel is relevant to who you are and what happens inside.

It is even more real to have experienced this weighting process in one 's life when you know that to defy the mass consideration and physics therein, that a mind might consider to be lighter then, indeed such a state may have found that gravity no longer exists to keep the body home on earth. That it can float. Alas though no repeatability will ever the measure of in your case, so I cannot say this is a method with which you will ever experience, and will have thought better to let it arrive at the illusions of, then to sanction the validity of what is being presented here.

You would have to know of colour of gravity has been built throughout this site to know, that colour of gravity is a "real measure of the internal nature of the human being" that extends beyond it's home.

Scotch tape is nothing new Arun, and neither is Kirlian photography? It is not this external measure as to what one should weigh, but of what is inside, that leads to such colours.

Thus it is with some knowledge that Plato's pyramid is more the understanding of an "internal structure" and it's ascent, placing a value to the ephemeral nature of colour in the mind's evolution, and it's final discourse thoughtfully constructed as to who you are.

Fear and Ignorance

This is a very significant physical result because it tells us that the energy of a system described by a harmonic oscillator potential cannot have zero energy. Physical systems such as atoms in a solid lattice or in polyatomic molecules in a gas cannot have zero energy even at absolute zero temperature. The energy of the ground vibrational state is often referred to as "zero point vibration". The zero point energy is sufficient to prevent liquid helium-4 from freezing at atmospheric pressure, no matter how low the temperature.
See:Quantum Harmonic Oscillator: Energy Minimum from Uncertainty Principle

It would be hard here to explain the way I see these things. In the way one can shift perspective, to think, that this measure of any "systemic reason" would ask that one consider the state of equilibrium?

It would be foolish to me for any science process to discount the value on how one can measure storms in space not to think that "such resonances" could have not found suitable actions as being represented in sociological correspondence.

Let us see how these great physicists used harmonic oscillators to establish beachheads to new physics.

Albert Einstein used harmonic oscillators to understand specific heats of solids and found that energy levels are quantized. This formed one of the key bridges between classical and quantum mechanics.

Werner Heisenberg and Erwin Schrödinger formulated quantum mechanics. The role of harmonic oscillators in this process is well known.

Paul A. M. Dirac was quite fond of harmonic oscillators. He used oscillator states to construct Fock space. He was the first one to consider harmonic oscillator wave functions normalizable in the time variable. In 1963, Dirac used coupled harmonic oscillators to construct a representation of the O(3,2) de Sitter group which is the basic scientific language for two-mode squeezed states.

Hediki Yukawa was the first one to consider a Lorentz-invariant differential equation, with momentum-dependent solutions which are Lorentz-covariant but not Lorentz-invariant. He proposed harmonic oscillators for relativistic extended particles five years before Hofstadter observed that protons are not point particles in 1955. Some people say he invented a string-model approach to particle physics.

Richard Feynman was also fond of harmonic oscillators. When he gave a talk at the 1970 Washington meeting of the American Physical Society, he stunned the audience by telling us not to use Feynman diagrams, but harmonic oscillators for quantum bound states. This figure illustrates what he said in 1970.

We are still allowed to use Feynman diagrams for running waves. Feynman diagrams applicable to running waves in Einstein's Lorentz-covariant world. Are Feynman's oscillators Lorentz-covariant? Yes in spirit, but there are many technical problems. Then can those problems be fixed. This is the question. You may be interested in reading about this subject: Lorentz group in Feynman's world.

Can harmonic oscillators serve as a bridge between quantum mechanics and special relativity
?

To consider such geometrical form "as the sphere," to have encouraged collapse, and find a resulting behaviour as signalling a change overwrought by influences that will insight idealizations to division and the idea that "no" global consideration is present.

While one may debate the idea of the classification of democracies in the 167 countries around the world, a consensus to quality control of information is insinuated. So now moving beyond "the border" to lesser degrees of, while there is no offering of what the idea of democratic institutions in the free countries of the world could be related too. It's measure in the degrees thereof.

While I had offered "in bold" the understanding, they( should I offer by name?) are quick to point out in rebuttal, by an offering to discount the very source of this consideration. I am all for further dialogue, but it looks like that won't happen.

See:Central Theme is the Sun

So how does it look, as a spherical realization, that SOHO measure in terms of predicting an "outcome of weather" could not have found "early warnings" to possible outcomes in the evolution of the planet it's electrical grids and power usage, telecommunications, and the events thereof?

You had to know that Plato "saw further" by understanding the examples of the sun, as a source of "seeing beyond the shadows of the cave." Of knowing, that one could be "free of the chains that bind."

No where does this say it is easy to overcome. The sociological and psychological behaviour that evolves in that "spherical engage", but that it is always the life struggle to get back to the light. One had to be fully aware of the topological translation of the relationship between the inner/outer and the reductionist move to what is self evident. There is no way for one to be aware of the analysis and the final outcome without knowing the way in which one could move to such a result, without knowing the wider perspective that is held about life.

Space Weather

Unfurling Prominence Eruption (October 10, 2008)
The STEREO (Ahead) spacecraft observed this visually stunning prominence eruption on Sept. 29, 2008 in the 304 Angstrom wavelength of extreme UV light. It rose up and cascaded to the right over several hours, appearing something like a flag unfurling, as it broke apart and headed into space. The material observed is actually ionized Helium at about 60,000 degrees. Prominences are relatively cool clouds of gas suspended above the Sun and controlled by magnetic forces.
SOHO Pick of the Week

It is always interesting to me, that the weather on earth, could have gone beyond the scope of the incidences of natural calamities that happen on earth, could also be affected by events out there in space.

Update on Home

The home is accumulative attempt to incorporate some of the ideas of "less dependency" on natural gas and safeguards when we loose power. Over the years it has always been the effort to see if we could not free ourselves of the cost of shelter and home, that while becoming free at different times does incur cost now. We will focus on quickly to make sure we can live being close to retirement.

This place I have dubbed the Library. I am in the process of finishing it inside. It will be the place for all my books paintings and computer equipment for the work that I do now.

This little building is approximately 12 feet by 12. It was the first building on this property before anything else to accommodate power telephone satellite and to be a quick hook-up for our trailer we lived in for seven months.

It has always been the idea that it would become my place for the writing that I do. Also being evicted from the grand children's room, to make way for more things for them, my misses has order me out.:) Naw, it was time, that coming to an end of the work to be done, I can finally find a space that is conducive to my aspirations for further writing.

Much will come from here in the future, under a new Blog I am thinking about.

Who Shall Rule a Nation?

At Backreaction: Save the Global Economy Day, I offer some information on what a home actually means. Some of us had grown without a firm structure and left to wallow in our own miseries, of an undetectable unhappiness, while we constrain to build the better family.

If one travels lots then it might seem the uneasiness with which one finds rest is always the struggle to find meaning in any one place and call it home. The restless soul.

Seeing a Psychologist at Work

Richards Wagners's Ring of Nibelung Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D. Ring of Power was interesting.

Strange that we could have seen A Jungian Understanding of the Wagner's Ring cycle, portrayed in todays world and how could have this been accomplished. But by re-introducing a fictional story and imbuing it with the archetypal structures of what Jean Shinoda Bolen called, "The Abandon Child, The Authoritarian Father, and the Disempowered Feminine."

Discerning the structure of the nation in terms of it's leadership as character is an interesting thought I have about what is actually happen to a nation in terms of that leadership?

An authoritarian father, a ruff and stumbled mom, or a son without a father who with the help of mother "moderates a nation?"

It is not lost to me that such storytelling can have it's benefits, and a really good psychologist can take us places and bring us back home to where the "underlying structure is." In relation to how dynamics play out on different levels of a government in action. I am not a psychologist, but the very idea of a "mathematical structure" plays very close to what I am saying, in recognizing root causes, and seeing how they play out in story form.

This is not lost on those who saw reform in terms of what a "evil villain shall arise" from such circumstances to portray it self illusively as "the father of wars," and the rescue from it's clutches, of a over bearing mother. But in this case, it is much different.

Who is it then that the Authoritarian is much more in tune now with it's feminine side, and by electoral confidence, a government that was being lead by moderation and tempered by that feminine balance, a tuned to a leavening of sorts? Ideological "the character seeks balance" and if the nation adjusts itself through such leaders, then who do you think shall lead a country at a time of peril in it economic state?

This is a question of the meaning of the University’s investments, in all senses. We are concerned, additionally, that this endeavour could reinforce among the public a perception that the University’s faculty lacks intellectual and ideological diversity. A variety of other specific concerns includes the following:
University of Chicago Faculty Letter on The Milton Friedman Institute

This isn't to say that because of it's Chicago roots, and the education of economics "alma matte" can not be dealt with more appropriately, under the watchful eye of a more "moderate economy." Even that institution sought to take itself out of what appealed to an oversight of, as a truer balance of what should happen with the nation and it's economic development? One politically motivated might be quick to cast a bad light over what is a understanding of an "economic thrust" for truth.

Centroids

Conclusion:The state of mind of the observer plays a crucial role in the perception of time.Einstein

It is often I consider the Center of Gravity(Mass) as an illustration of the perspective that exists "around and within us" as a product of the natural world. We are limited by our own knowledge, yet when given, and lead to observation of what is natural in our world, we see where we had not seen before.

\bar z = \frac{\int z dm}{m}The center of gravity (or mass), abbreviated as COM, of any object is that point within the object upon which gravity (or any body force) acts, regardless of the orientation of the object. The COM of an object may be calculated by using the principle of equilibrium.

First off you must know that I work according to a set of principles that were discovered after a time through "subjective reflection" on the nature of mind and how it works. Of course I am no expert here, but the principles themself are realizable as an active function in the recognition of how one might interpret the world.

\bar y = \frac{\int y \rho dV}{\int \rho dV}In the event that the density ρ of an object is not uniform throughout, the calculation of COM may be done by a similar set of equations involving the addition of density to the analysis.

It is by taking one to recognisance of the title of this blog entry that I wanted to discuss the "subjective part" and the understanding of the "mathematical construct" that one, in my opinion exists. Just as we progress to understand the natural world around us, I believe these are synonymous with each other.

\bar Y = \frac{\sum m \bar y}{\sum m}If a body is made up of multiple sections, each of which has a unique mass, the method for evaluating the centroid of that body is to evaluate the composite body by finite element analysis of each of the sections through the use of moment balancing, as above.

Liminocentric structures

You can find much on this site in regards to this issue, and I now relate centroid for consideration in the case of this topic. I presented it at the Backreaction site today to show an advancement in the thinking as we move to incorporate the knowledge. As we come to understand the natural world around us.

Giving earth a new understanding in terms of its densities and it's relation to the gravitational contribution, it has in our new views of the globe, helped me learn and understand the feature of gravity as it extends to the cosmos.

I have taken it a step further as many of you know to include the emotive states as valued physiological relations to what manifests in the immediate environs of the body home. While this is a far cry from the understanding of gravitational research it was inevitable for me to see an extension of how one can topological relate to the world, in this inductive/deductive mode to reason.

While living on this earth, we always come home for reflection, and if any have not taken stock of what has accumulated during the day, then it is inevitable that is will come to reside very close to home as one sleeps through the nocturnality night. This research of subjectivity and mind had to entail "all of our activities." It had to include an understanding of the "mathematical constructs" that we observe, in order to relate to nature.

Why are Planets Round?

It is always interesting to see water in space.

Image: NASA/JPL-
Planets are round because their gravitational field acts as though it originates from the center of the body and pulls everything toward it. With its large body and internal heating from radioactive elements, a planet behaves like a fluid, and over long periods of time succumbs to the gravitational pull from its center of gravity. The only way to get all the mass as close to planet's center of gravity as possible is to form a sphere. The technical name for this process is "isostatic adjustment."

With much smaller bodies, such as the 20-kilometer asteroids we have seen in recent spacecraft images, the gravitational pull is too weak to overcome the asteroid's mechanical strength. As a result, these bodies do not form spheres. Rather they maintain irregular, fragmentary shapes.

See:Isostatic Adjustment is Why Planets are Round?
