He was born in Shanghai in 1919 into a fairly wealthy family of some influence. His father was a prominent banker, one of the founders of the Bank of China; his mother died when he was 16. He was educated privately in his own home in the classics of the Chinese tradition and in private boarding schools. He was for several months tutored by the wife of the British Consul-General. His family members were Buddhist. For the springtime holiday, they travelled to the ancestral tombs in Yu Yao, in Chekiang Province, for the spring festivals. During the Japanese Occupation, Gia-Fu went to Kunming in Free China to complete his Bachelor's Degree at Southwest Associated University in the liberal arts. Gia-Fu once commented that he had become a millionaire three times in his life, giving his money away each time. The first time was when he worked for the bank in Kunming.

Chinese Taoists believe this bright image has close relation to the "Original Essence", "Golden Flower", and "Original Light" . If the practitioner sees the Mandala, that means he/she see part of "Original Essence", and he/she are entering the beginning level of the immortal essence. In the book of Wilhelm's translation, he describes some of the pictures of the Mandala.
Some might know of my references to the Mandala throughout this blog and more specific the understanding of what the "Pure land" means. If you had never known of what the Koan symbolizes then how would you know to understand that the communication of that "very essence of quality" is transmutable to another human being in it's most pure from?
The Golden Flower is the Elixir of Life (literally, golden ball, golden pill). All changes of spiritual consciousness depend upon the Heart. Here is a secret charm, which, although it works very accurately, is yet so fluent that it needs extreme intelligence and clarity, and complete absorption and calm. People without this highest degree of intelligence and understanding do not find the way to apply the charm; People without this utmost capacity for concentration and calm cannot keep fast hold of it.

The Chautauquas were pushed aside by faster-paced radio, movies and TV, and it seems to me the change was not entirely an improvement. The old channels cannot contain it and in its search for new ones there seems to be growing havoc and destruction along its banks. This article is more about what Robert Maynard Pirsig accomplished. What I had learnt as I came to realize what the value of thought I had taken from the reading. I had already read a lot over the years, and it was that reading that brought it together for me, so that now I can describe what I feel needs to be done.
The title of this post is specific in that the Tao here is the realization that we can constantly move in this relation. Is still to remain part of the earthly state of existence, as the "square" shows in my model of thinking.
Here in this mandala it is interesting to see how such a construction of the diagram becomes focused. Foursquare. If you look at the pyramid and us being over top of, then we can keep this in mind. The Seal of Solomon or Star of David is a symbolism of a kind that warrants the mind to think of involution and evolution. The central location is the place of the heart. Those six smaller triangles then become what?:)Central to this evolution of the thinking, and the rising above this duality, is to recognize "the Heart" in this relation. It is the idea of the quality that must come into one's thinking to see that what transpires after the distinction of such dualism is to become part of the quality of the new thinking mind. Then the thinking mind has been raised in a "energy configuration" that holds all thoughts to a transforming hierarchy within the pyramid, as a colour of gravity depiction and ascension, as possible in each and every person.
The dream is a little hidden door in the innermost and most secret recesses of the soul, opening into that cosmic night which was psyche long before there was any ego consciousness, and which will remain psyche no matter how far our ego consciousness extends.... The very image at the bottom of this blog page again is a type of koan that was given to me "in literal form" to come to understand it's message. I pass it onto others so that they might consider it's message. It is about life, and about the transformation to a spiritual person. This is a necessary recognition of when we choose to "rise above that dualism" to become situated in the heart mind.
This is also the time when we take the earthly design, and move over top of the pyramid, to see that what lays before us is a recognition of the cyclical nature that dualism enfolds into the living of, as a human being. One needs the heart in order to rise to the higher principals of the intellect, taking that energy and transforming it into new thought processes. So then the pyramid then becomes a dynamical model of the human body and mind.
To ever get the sense of this momentum of opposites transforming into the one other is to realize that a pressure exists on the forearm. IN this contact a oppositional force will cause the realization that if you were empty, no resistance, to allow that opposing movement to move forward. You allow it to become centrifugal, as if, in a rotation, to return the force back onto itself.
Such momentums are the things which propel my own mind through the vast journeys of space on a imaginary spaceship, that while in the Lagrangian mode, one can understand how such rockets can travel with the least amount of energy expedited.
Such an exchange is the idea then that the economy in caught in this kind of action of dualism?

ReplyDeleteI happened to come across a link by John Fudjack in a article that illustrated a conversation between himself and Brian Greene. IT was in relation to the idea of "liminocentric structures."
John G recognized my writing on that particular subject, and I think sensed well that I am student who worked to describe "the Journey" that can come from working inside, to manifest on the outside.
Also, to explain the relationship and dynamics that go on outside, as we Journey inside.
Now you must know that when I came across that linked discussion it was something I recognized in the unfolding of what can arise from inside, as a description of that Pureland( see Distortions of Reality).
Plato's ideal state and about the sun as a illuminative feature of freedom from chains that bind our thinking.
These might have been understood in a inductive/deductive relation with the world, and points directly to the understanding as I had come to perceive of Robert Pirsig. His journey with his son, and the motorcycle. About what becomes "self evident" after such a journey. A mountain summit perhaps, halfway climbed up and back again.:)
How would you see yourself now understanding that the equilibrium has to be risen above in order to transform society toward a new standard of thinking economically?

You often say we agree and yet when it comes to things that need to be given proper weigh and method to be assessed I’m brought to wonder so I’ll list a few things I’ve noticed in terms of qualifying that:
When discussing months ago the actions that should be taken in this economic crisis I said the richer nations in terms of action should rather coordinate their efforts to avoid blaming one another to justify protectionism and trade war practices between them. You comment was in effect that we should look after our own first and if there be any left over perhaps then we could extend our concerns beyond. My question is to ask if this remains as your position or have you since altered it?
With regard to this libertarian discussion I would like to understand your thoughts better and it can be simply put this way. Do you understand that having a well armed citizenry as being a right? Do you understand that it is the exercising of this right to be what assures a citizens itself to be free and have liberty. Do you believe there to be a single clandestine society that controls the world at an almost subliminal level? Do you believe that with only the recognition of this society and what constitutes to be its member is required for all to be able to better our individual lot in life and the world’s in general? These are simple questions whose answers will help me to understand just how closely our opinions are as to the state of our society(s) and the reasons for it. Like I said before, I don’t understand that our positions are ever fixed, yet I do think general direction can be determined and I would like to with you answering of these question have me better understand your own.

ReplyDeleteIN my mind it is always about the "structure of the family" and what one may choose to incorporate under our plans to build a healthy generation of people, that come out of that family.
While there is this internal building of character that goes on, as a parent too, during the time of our raising our children we come to recognize the past as what we were raised in, and what we voice from that past, as well, what we choose now as parents to to pass on, into that new generation. Our children will and are going through the same process. They will build a new generation accordingly..
I thought it important then, that the children be raised in a healthy environment, and in their future as they live, build toward an ever stronger future. A most "nurturing environment" would be the most productive one to me for that new generation( it takes balance).
If I see the family suffer, I will say, take care of our own first and this can mean on a global scale. The Children. Fix our home so that they will prosper.
I come from a broken home with a lot of siblings(10) and at the age of 16 was ill prepared as I made my way and then into the armed forces. After going on 33 years with my wife, I can say that we have indeed produced wonderful children and grandchildren. Without models to which I could have aspired too as a father, how could I have learnt to become a good father and lead these children to their own future? Leadership? I can be subliminal in my messages too to counteract.
Nations, are no different to me.
From one family to the next we want healthy children to become citizens of the world. Colour of skin, or nationality does not matter to me. We are human beings first. Attacks on this, are attacks on the whole of society.
Learn to take care of our own first would be in the interest of our country, would be to be built on stronger family values in order to "free our children," to a more prosperous, independent and confident future in their relation and sociability.
This did not mean because I had been well trained as a soldier and peace officer and that I knew weapons well, that I have any now or that I advocate the wars that gangs rule.
IN these times of the gangs( this denigration was about what happens in these times), enforcement needs to be a steady hand and morally steady as well.
I hope this helps some.
I too notice the carnage that a weapon first hand can do to a distressed and unhappy individual who decides to take lives, and then takes their own, as I've seen in suicides current.

It's a "thought process" that has become desensitized to the values of respect for human life and human values. Getting to know who and what we are is part of becoming better citizens of a future. Does not mean we haven't made mistakes. It's how we want to move forward into that future.
It will mean to be healthy and whole, means to be aware, not only of others, but of our own natures.

You asked some time ago “If I choose a political ideology to represent the entanglement process and show my position as Set C, what does set c represent?”. Despite all that you’ve said you remain indeterminate to me. I’ve considered two possibilities for this; the first is perhaps you are still seeking to find not so much where you are yet rather where you’re going. The second is perhaps you deny having any direction for this makes you harder to locate then even a moving target. If it be the first I can truly say we share much in common, although I feel I have some sense of direction, if not location at any given time. If it be the latter I can say that I can still empathize for we all have fears of some nature and reasons of our own.
Yet my problem still remains in my having little hope that I can ever see your side of things, with as little you are either capable or perhaps willing to offer. The one thing you’ve said that perhaps I can connect with, is you referred to yourself as a trained “peace officer”, rather then “police officer” , policemen or cop. To me at least this suggests you consider yourself as a person who’s a servant for mankind’s well being, rather then the hand of some ruler(s). So with this I have hope that you and I are headed in the same direction and knowing full well that none of us can ever truly occupy the same space; unless of course there is a final singularity similar to the one suspected having existed only in the beginning. Until then I will follow your journey as best as I can and with an interest as if it were my own.

Hopefully you will understand how quantum Chlorophyll is designated in the thought process to reveal a Quantum superposition, as a system, which can be heated up to encourage, not in the sense to burn as in anger, but to create the inspiration to rise above.
The mind then becomes a useful tool for creation.
"The heart as an octave" is the link between the upper and the lower.
Look at that koan "as a symbol which I gave you(bottom of the page Anubis)." Then you will slowly come to understand what I just gave you. I can't give you my answer. You have to find it yourself.
