Framing Complete

I am somewhat happy to say that the framing for the second floor is complete.

That last few days the drillers showed up to do hs well. This was a little of a tense time for my son as he tried to concentrate in tdoing the work we had to do. They came within his budget, so my son and his wife were very happy.

They have about 30 gallons a minute, at a depth of approximaryely 300ft. Which is way more then what is needed. This just makes life that much mre simplier then tying into a well with other people and monitoring. The "power consumption" and "water habits" that people have, from what seems to come easy can cause strains on the pump if it is running all the time with so many people on it.

From a conservative standpoint, the amount of water that was tapped can support about eight homes quite nicely. In the area he is in, he thought it better then to have that shared well responsibility. That option existed already, so that is servicing other homes in his area.

Having about two years previously tapped into my existing well, my son trenched about 500 feet approximately 7-8ft down to help me service our second place. I am happy to say that this has been sold, and some nice people now own it. The second place we now live on which I bought beside, I created the option to share this well, as it was quite appealing while still owning iour first place and servicing it.

WE were a couple of days behind, but overall we pretty much kept to the pace my son had set to get the house to this stage, before he went back to work.

What is nice, is that I will still have some time off myself until the 31st, so I can take care of the work around our own place that has been neglected. Also spending some time with his mother as well.

What makes me proud is that during his youth and raising, the ideas behind establishing oneself in the country was played our twice in his lifetime. His mother and I went through these stages, and tried to live as "free of the system" as possible, and then of course sucummbed to the good things of life as we got older.

The sense of conservation of water, was a principle factor in my son's life, as his mother and I had to truck in water? Had too, if we could not gain from "cloudy skies" or "winter snow melt." It was very rough getting use to it, but then we learnt lots about cisterns and the methods to support oneself away from a system that is taken for granted.

I created a water hauling service which I ran for a couple of years with my wife, and then abandon this idea to drill the well. I was dong two jobs then, and having to depend on my wife during the winter months, while working the other job.

She's a tuff woman who gives a greater understandng to what equality should mean in our recognition of the sexes, when it comes to survival and living life apart from the comforts that sustain cultural habits of entitlement.

If you do not live life in this way, how would you know the dependance with which we gain comfort from life, where others have been struggling to make the comfort of home an everyday dream.

As I said, having drilled our own well about 7 years ago now, I understand the necessity of cost and having to be conservative for almost 10 years before that. Turning on a tap gives one a whole new perspective about water and the sustenance with which gives life it's comfort.

Heating

My son is gooing with a in cement tubing which will circulate fluids for controlling the temeprature of a radiant heat. A boiler will produce the heat and create hot water that flows throug these tubes. I like this idea, becuase of the heating system and force air systems that produce all this dust and airborne particulates. Much like water conservation, I am very conscious of the money involved with the winter months. I guess in the sense of what air conditioning can do for those in the hot climate.

Also at the time, my son was growing we had two propane tanks installed one at each place respectively, as a with the resources at our use, we tried to be conservative on what we use, so we transferred some of that depenadance to the wood source heat, I had installed myself, to take some of that cost burden

Being tied to the grid, and power consumption goes right along with what your willing to spend on your hydro? Since there is quite an abundance of forest lands and dead timber, there is a supply that can be used to heat homes during those winter months. Beetle kill is quite a factor at this point in time as well.

Which reminds me of what my wife and I have to do in order to reduce our dependance on the propane we used being off the natural gas route. I like this backup to the wood heatalthough the propane is the primary, I treat as it the secondary), that if we go away, I can set the temperature, as one would in any normal house.

I do this anyway during the winter months, in case the temperatures drop off and we become lazy in not stacking the wood stove in the stove before bed. Which I am happy to say my wife does(I just make sure it is there to put in). She maintains our home while I work, and has taken care of us, for quite a few years now. :)

Well it seems I have turn the project of my son's into somethng else here, and given a little preview into what my son was exposed too has now become the plight of our children and their attitudes. My daugthers are very indpendant too, so I do not have to worry about them not tryng in life.

Our children, make my wife and I very proud. All three tend towards this country living, so there must have been something good come raising them in this way?:)

When Is a House A Home?

This phrase up top of this blog entry is catchy is it not?

Starring: Kevin Kline, Kristen Scott Thomas, Hayden Christensen, Jena Malone, Mary Steenburgen, Mike Weinberg, Scotty Leavenworth, Ian Somerhalder, Jamey Sheridan, Scott Bakula, Sandra Nelson, Sam Robards, John Pankow, Kim Delgado, Barry Primus Director: Irwin Winkler

The fact that the "ole fabric" of our thinking can be torn down and rebuilt in a better format, after much careful thought and considerationCan it not be worthy of what you can put back into what you want your house to be?

It is as though this has to be put out there for minds to consider? Like all possibilties, the diversities of the home in which we all live, is as unique as it is to the very life that is lead through the living of it.

When you go back to the homes in where you grew up, how is your perception against what you will see that day? It seems, it was always bigger then what I had expected it to be. Time changes this. "Time," puts it back into perspective?

So what is home for one, might be different in the way the one would interpret a house. Would be vastly different in how this house will be the measure of all homes? Will be the measure of "what home is," in life?

In his novel Ulysses, James Joyce includes a lengthy discussion about Hamlet, referring to it as one of a select few important artworks that outshine the rest.

"Art has to reveal to us ideas, formless spiritual essences. The supreme question about a work of art is out of how deep a life does it spring? The painting of Gustave Moreau is painting of ideas, the deepest poetry of Shelley, the words of Hamlet bring our mind into contact with the eternal wisdom, Plato's world of ideas. All the rest is the speculation of schoolboys for schoolboys."

To be, or Not to Becomes from, "The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark"

To be or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them. To die: to sleep;
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks
That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation
Devoutly to be wish'd. To die, to sleep;
To sleep: perchance to dream: ay, there's the rub;
For in that sleep of death what dreams may come
When we have shuffled off this mortal coil,
Must give us pause: there's the respect
That makes calamity of so long life;
For who would bear the whips and scorns of time,
The oppressor's wrong, the proud man's contumely,
The pangs of despised love, the law's delay,
The insolence of office and the spurns
That patient merit of the unworthy takes,
When he himself might his quietus make
With a bare bodkin? who would fardels bear,
To grunt and sweat under a weary life,
But that the dread of something after death,
The undiscover'd country from whose bourn(e)
No traveller returns, puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all;
And thus the native hue of resolution
Is sicklied o'er with the pale cast of thought,
And enterprises of great pitch and moment
With this regard their currents turn awry,
And lose the name of action.-Soft you now,
The fair Ophelia, - Nymph, in thy orisons
Be all my sins remember'd.

For me there was always an interactive feature about what the photon could do in terms of describing it's "state of existance" and if this were the case, then how would you have applied such a measure?

Light-matter interaction
Low energy phenomena Photoelectric effect
Mid-energy phenomena Compton scattering
High energy phenomena Pair production

So while we have held the romantic to heart, what "beat in measure" would any in/out going state signify, if the calculation of the photon is "gravitationally considered?" Shall it be so static and discrete that we forgot how raelly smooth these heartbeats really are?

What Dreams May Come

When Chris enters the house, he finds that she doesn't recognize him. Pale, gaunt, and miserable-looking, Annie isn't fully aware that she's dead. He talks to her gently, pretending to be a neighbor, before he is able to gain enough of her trust to reach her for a moment. In guilt and disbelief, Annie screams and pushes him away, and a saddened Chris realizes he has failed. He tells his insane wife a last good-bye, and leaves the house. The Tracker consoles him, and Chris tells him he has given up.

"But," he adds, "Not the way you think."

He asks the Tracker to give his love to his children, and re-enters the house. Taking his wife's hand, he tells her he won't leave her. He's decided to stay forever in hell and join her in madness rather than leave her again. Somehow, this sacrifice reaches Annie when nothing else can, and she and Chris pull each other out of the miasma of hell, narrowly escaping.

What Dreams May Come is a 1978 novel by Richard Matheson about the afterlife.

While some may never have considered the strength of the matter states, and what they hold for us in our decisions, it is of some relevance that the "lighter constituents of gravity" defined in a equilibrium state, are significant, if ever held in context of the "hell's of damnation inferno?"

It is with some hope, that "the higher realization" of spirituality, will bring us to the father's house? When you roll your eyes upward, it is not so very far away is it?

So of course as one descends into the hells of what has held us most in life(quark Gluon Plasma) and tamed for us to the conclusion of the way it is? Then, the plight of suffering was wholesomely considered, as Robin Williams sought to get his wife from the choice she had made?

While it is in some Catholic minds, the sin, it was more the damnation one could have attributed to the minds conclusion i that religious thinking? That it was then locked in what it could no longer take in life, took along with them, in death? But in "cleaning up life's work, as it never seems to conclude whole fully(the medicine wheel) until the realizations are always there for us to think about as parts of the whole? Robin's "choice" with his wife to reincarnate?

Robin Williams seeing the "beauty of life" saw it in the heaven's making? Certain realizations abundant, and very swift, in every thought form held there for Robin Williams. We should of "held off on our judgements" one might say in life, also made so quickly without recourse?

Foundation Walls

After the forms were put up and completed, my son inserted a two by four at the very top, for our nailing to the plate. There were a few minor issues that my son was able to take care of as the concrete was being poured. So all in all, that part of th eowrk was completed on time.

After letting it set for about 36 hours, we went to work and dismantled all that had taken three days to put up.

I never realized that I could hurt this much physically after doing that kind of work. Well, that's not entirely true. I think "the age" tends to catch up with you, and in comparison to youth, one tends to see the drawbacks of what you could once do and what you can't do now. Just tryng to keep the pace was extremely hard, but looking back now, one tends to forget as quickly too.

The guy doing the backfill was suppose to show up Friday. Working with my son Thursday morning, it sounded like he might not get him at all.

So, running out of glue holding styrofoam insulation that we put up on the outside bearing walls, approximately five inches from the top, I left him to get some things done around our house. His mother owned me for the rest of the day.

Calling later, to see if he had completed the styrofoam on the rest, I could hear the heavy equipment and a happy young man as the backfill had begun one day early.

We actually lost one day for pour early in the process because of the inspector not showing when he said they would, so the next time, they came early to make up for that day. So 12 days, to start, to backfill on the foundatin walls, is extremely good I think.

My son is on a tight schedule, as he had taken off a certain amount of time before he has to go back to work. We are shooting for "under the roof" by the end of July. So that will be the end of my help, as the trades will taken over working within the house, and he will assume his owner/contractor responsibilites to coordinating.

In reality he had a "vision in mind" and has been doing this all along.

Be Not Afraid to Build in What ever Form

Models serve to remind us of all that goes into such projects. Whether, in the form of the house that my son is building, or whether it is in how we will draw conclusions about life, and all that we have gained from it in perception.

I think this is where I wanted to mention to young people that the power to do these things are very well and "capable in your hands." To "not be afraid to do" what anyone of you can be doing. To not be afraid of tackling the unknowns. Research, and more research, paves the way for a smooth transiton of the efforts that go into doing.

The way that this house is being constructed is one of many ways that any one of us can entertain. Learning of the differences between cultures and societies, the "way of doing" is always fascinating too.

Part of this insight askes my mind, why the types of construction are not carefully considered in the tornado alley's, that would resist demolishing in regard to nature's forces. Why construction techniques in the thrid world, has not be considered, to save the many lives that have been ended in such devastations.

Our Histories

These ideas go back to what the early settlers had to do and make use of. I tend to look back to my Grandmothers attempts to draw her first home here in this country, made out of sod. Where my ancestors progressed from.

Yes too, Plato Has a human face. Where life moves on in the expression of our children, and their children. No different, then each of us in our histories.

I will also show a type of construction that I looked at quite early on, that answered a lot of these questions in my mind. That also raised the thinking in terms of "European trends" as to the style of construction. These were mostly retrospect, from what had already transpired and had been reconstructed during the devastations of World War II.

Continuing with the Foundation

An important thing to remember is, a House Will Become the Home. There are many things that will go into our homes? In the dream world, this home, will become the backdrop for all the things you will measure in life?

If you thought the highest ideals in life might have been expressed, where shall you do this? One place I know, is underneath the peak of the roof. How about you? YOur living room? Your kitchen and the health with which you will engage life?

But still we are along way off to concretizing "this model" in your mind. There is much work to do and a full day ahead.

"Geometry" is Measuring the Earth

There is a great appreciation to the developer of this site who has helped me see where such measure and evolution, is important, as to what constitutes the house. What goes into it.

How did human beings come to use mathematics to describe the world around them? One of the early motivators for humans to perfect a language for communicating about the world in terms of numbers came from the need to measure the Earth. People were learning to build large temples and cultivate large fields. These people had spiritual and practical needs for understanding how to measure and describe the space around them.

As I mentioned earlier, the frame of reference is very important. Here the earth is the foundational aspect we are working with, yet the point within space that we are using had to be level, so shooting for that within the space provided between earth and the height with which we will move our foundation walls, is critical to levelnesss and 90 degree angles, as well as, making sure the pythagorean angles on the ground are square too to our "two dimensional" planning.

Blog Pictures

There must be a limit to the number of pictures that I can upload to this the blog posting, as it will not allow other images that I wish to convey, alongside of this construction that is going on. So I guess I have to link now within context of this posting originally developed?

I should say "Ourhomeconstruction images" refer to my daughter-in-law and son's house. I am the "humble servant" in this adventure of theirs.

The footing size here was sixteen inches wide and approximately eight inches deep. This depth varance chanegs of course with the earth, so it was extremely important that we get our level height, while such distances inside the footings, maintain the level in space that we had shot previously.

It has been ten days since my son and I have started. I wanted to show some of the pictures that he had been taking as we have progressed.

In those footings and in the foundation walls we placed rebar which will make then much sturdier to the pressures of earth against them, as well as the backfill that will go on. In the design of this home two extra inner walls were placed to help to make sure any settling that does occur in new homes, does not happen here.

There are reasons for this, and in my son's case because of the type of heating system that he will be using, I think this a good idea too. INstead of the standard forced air which occurs lots in this location of the country, he will be using a radiant heat from the floor system, with piping being cemented, on both floors. This is a much cleaner way in which to heat one's home and add cooling to the house in the summer. The heating tubes will have fluid pumped through them from a "on demand boiler" that wil heat the floor section accordingly.

It helps sometimes to record the evolution of the process so that one does not forget.

There are a lot of things my son had to do in order to make sure that we were consistent with our measures and that these were maintained.

The one wall within these froms "is movable" so that when the concrete fills, it pushes it out to the full width of eight inches in this case, butting up quite tight to the ties that go throughh these foundation walls.

So having the footings in place we are and have moved on too, the foundation walls. Today the concrete was poured for the foundation walls. That took us about three days to put up. With help from people we were able to make this transition fairly quickly from the daughter-in-law help to screw in wood crossties to hold the footing the distance of 16 inches, to my wife backfilling the edges of the footing, to help hold the concrete boards in place.

While we work in coordinated frame of reference, GR is "a result" having descended to the four dimensions perspective from a fifth dimensional view? That is what Heightened perception is?

Fifth dimension (Wikipedia June 27 2006)

I placed the following picture to be consistent with the end of this blog entry and of course to align the article within the appropriate pages.

Editing, for appearance I guess.

M.C. Escher's work and the Official Site

My son used two by six in this operation and the distances to the ground required more earth backfill then others. Overall, I think 2x8 would have been sufficient.

So tomorrow begins the stripping down of everything we put up to support the foundation, and foundation walls.

Omar Khayyám the mathematician (6 april 2006 Wikipedia)

He was famous during his lifetime as a mathematician, well known for inventing the method of solving cubic equations by intersecting a parabola with a circle. Although his approach at achieving this had earlier been attempted by Menaechmus and others, Khayyám provided a generalization extending it to all cubics. In addition he discovered the binomial expansion, and authored criticisms of Euclid's theories of parallels which made their way to England, where they contributed to the eventual development of non-Euclidean geometry.

I will again fast forward here, to the perspective of "hyperbolic geometry," so people understand that leading from Euclidean perspective, there are results to seeing GR on a cosmological level in it's culmination, from parallel lines, to non-euclidean perspectives.

While my son stands on a mound of dirt, his heightened peception(the ascension to non-euclidean realm) and what is taking place in his mind, goes beyond the frames of refeences we use, yet, they are coordinated within them. Still the dynamcial nature of what constitutes that house, moves within those frames of reference in dynamical ways. Hallways become the transiton betwen the deeper levels of seeing? The changes within the house and it's rooms?

What they did not understand is that moving GR down to the quantum level is the insight with which the new direction of theoretics and physics needed to go. So developing consistancy with Quantum perspective was necessary and within this home, dynamical qualities existed, that move within these frames of reference. Yet, Gr does not work well on the quantum level, so how did such unification take place?

Foundational Perspectives

Do I work in construction, of course not. But I like models we develope. How we go about building them. While I may have developed them in my own mental and physical life, this entry, is about what the youth of today, can do in their own lives.

I also wanted to speak about the foundation of institutions, as well as, describe what is happening in my life right now. That this indeed is taking up some of my time. It's a worthy effort, working by my son, to uphold the understanding, that "fear of doing" should not limit us in our pursuates. That physical work demands, "strong motivational hearts" to succeed. Careful planning and execution.

Well of course above, there lies the remains physically challenged by time and the destruction of, by the powers that be then.

It was this picture that I was reminded of, as I looked across the work we had been doing to raise the house for my daughter-in-law and son. Yes, today, they pour the footings, and then, we shall progress from here.

As we were setting this up, I couldn't help but think of the attempts of our good scientists, who undertake the challenge to do their "own work" in the real world. To provide for, "construction corrections" to the homes that they live in. What is a home? What is a solid foundation in the sense of being secure?

But I could fast forward here, to this heightened view, just to remind you of this elevation of thought, so I'll place this perspective my son captured, while, what had transpired should be spoken about.

One might quickly forget the calculations in making sure we work on this "2D plain" according to the schematics of the archetectural drawing. It is this basis(model) of the house, with which they have chosen.

So! I sat and thought about it during the previous couple of days. While I watched the spirit of my son work hard, while others worked hard, asking what lead such inexperience to challenge what only existed in the mind of professionals. To take on such a task?

Research, and more research, and a willingness to do what was thought unimaginable?

Can it be said then, that it is this limitation that is forced on self, that any of us, had we not set our minds to it, couldn't have moved in the world the same way? Not to be afraid? To move beyond the world in it's accustom ways, was to encourage the self away from such conceptual stumbling blocks?

Pythagorean's Theorem

The theorem has been known in many cultures, by many names, for many years. Pythagoras, for whom the theorem is named, lived in ancient Greece, 2500 years ago. It is believed that he learned the theorem during his studies in Egypt. The Egyptians probably knew of the relationship for a thousand years before Pythagoras. The Egyptians knew of this relationship for a triangle with sides in the ratio of 3 - 4 - 5".

So it was of course important, that as we laid out the footings, keeping in mind the level from a heighten perspective, that we set out the basis of all our work from which all things would progress.

The Transit Level

While the model below is one of many designs, we used another model to help us with our leveling of the footings.

Many times in my youth growing up, it was important that this tool be used, so from it my talks about frame sof referenc ewas gain from actual hands on experience.

I relayed a story to my son, when he was around ten, as he set hs eyes upon work that I had been doing to arrive at a level. Of course, it was "long forgotten," but awoken when refreshed, the idea and foundational perspective is still alive and strong as a basis of the tools we need to do work in "frames of reference."

So of course we are thinking as we developed the "2d dimensions" to allot for a "frame of reference," for how could all things progress? How shall we do this, if we do not move to a third dimensional reference point? How do we arrive at a heightened perspective from all that has been laid out, if we had not raised oneself as my my son had, to include a picture of the whole site?

Describing the Intuitive Process?

True creativity often starts where language ends-Arthur Koestler

If such a image is recognized in how we attain such clarity, then would such a map be insignificant? What was conducive to the event happening? Fishing the deep waters of our subconcious purposely or with no cause other then to resolve a problem?

As subjective as the topic of intuition might be in regards to each others abilities, I see no reason why such a process should not be explained. People with good science abilities recognize that this process is a valid one regardless of the leanings towards atheistic, or godliness in bias, that I think appropriate that it is taken out of the subjective realm and mysticism? That any good luck, might wane, if all of a sudden talked about.

Clifford:
His was the best single sentence summing up the concept, as we were to use it that evening: Intuition is the process of getting to a destination without knowing the route. He also added: Sometimes you did not even know you wanted to get there. I've modified the words a bit, but that's the essence of what he said. It was a definition that was so appreciated, you could hear several audible hhhhmmmmms of recognition from the audience.

There is a quiet recognition here, of something that touches us all, and trying to explain it does not seem like a inappropriate thing to do. Thus I would try and model a approach no different then the mathematician or scientist who is at a lost for words/math. Thus, Arthur’s quote up top makes some kind of sense.

Now sure the ingenuity of the moment might seem far and in between, but being aware of the day today circumstances in our memories induced created, is a good way of watching how this process might unfold. That they might only be one time of significance, would not dissaude me from stating that it is more likely encounter more then one might think. An example multiplied by the number of people who say ah, yes I see, and we understand that the point about it’s significance, that we are in agreement. Is there some other explanantion, the more the merrier, that we might see the greater detail?

This intuitive process is as applicable to our search for wordings, as it is for science/math.

Where is the most apropriate place for such recognitions, as to when the work ends, and we are at a loss?

A Supersymmetrical idea perhaps, or a potential resource seen in analogy like water, of the subconscious/unconscious? Would we be wise to know when such things are sent to the subconscious, that by such continued recourse in the sameness of experience, such things will arise to the surface time and time again.

Has this emotive experience changed, or, can we assign new attitudes to what we always did uncosciously? By being aware in our daily lives, the forces of violent seas or a messy house in symbolic analogy will we have recognized the warnings from a disorganized mind, or one, that has not paid attention to the experience manifested?

Venn Logic and TA

I always lke to inject a piece of my young child's perspective, becuase it helps explain things a bit about "the neighborshood." As we move through them. He asked me about the neighborhood that we were moving too, as if, that was the world. That was his question. "Is this the World," Dad? He was about 4 years old at the time. He's gone now, married, and leadng a very productive life.

The purpose of this picture above comes later down the length of this post. We are all not perfect, are we?

As a youth my first reading of this topic was from a book called, I'm Okay Your Okay, by M.D. Thomas A. Harris.

It helped in defining aspects of myself in context of what was happening in my environment, while being introspective. Is this always a good thing that we take stock of what is going on inside ourselves to wonder indeed what is all these parts of ourselves. How do we look at them in context of the way the "I" is being used.

These lessons were also derived from other places, so it becomes culminative in how one might look at society, and from it, a biased view forms no dfferent then one who has been transplanted from historical context of experience, moving from the lands of the Carribean to the UK society, held in context and views of the community in which they had lived, and live now. There were comparative features drawn from expeirence to consider here?

So as you move, you grow in perspective, all the while the pictures of mountains and similarities strike poises in our mind of of wnating recognition. Who was this person at the time of youth, who, like myself saw farms of a early history, to know that today this historical past is all but forgotten in the real world struggle of lives held in context of these farms? The picture today, contains the picture of our youth.

Parent ego state

This is a set of feelings, thinking and behaviour that we have copied from our parents and significant others.

As we grow up we take in ideas, beliefs, feelings and behaviours from our parents and caretakers. If we live in an extended family then there are more people to learn and take in from. When we do this, it is called introjecting and it is just as if we take in the whole of the care giver. For example, we may notice that we are saying things just as our father, mother, grandmother may have done, even though, consciously, we don't want to. We do this as we have lived with this person so long that we automatically reproduce certain things that were said to us, or treat others as we might have been treated.

Adult ego state

The Adult ego state is about direct responses to the here and now. We deal with things that are going on today in ways that are not unhealthily influenced by our past.

The Adult ego state is about being spontaneous and aware with the capacity for intimacy. When in our Adult we are able to see people as they are, rather than what we project onto them. We ask for information rather than stay scared and rather than make assumptions. Taking the best from the past and using it appropriately in the present is an integration of the positive aspects of both our Parent and Child ego states. So this can be called the Integrating Adult. Integrating means that we are constantly updating ourselves through our every day experiences and using this to inform us.

In this structural model, the Integrating Adult ego state circle is placed in the middle to show how it needs to orchestrate between the Parent and the Child ego states. For example, the internal Parent ego state may beat up on the internal Child, saying "You are no good, look at what you did wrong again, you are useless". The Child may then respond with "I am no good, look how useless I am, I never get anything right". Many people hardly hear this kind of internal dialogue as it goes on so much they might just believe life is this way. An effective Integrating Adult ego state can intervene between the Parent and Child ego states. This might be done by stating that this kind of parenting is not helpful and asking if it is prepared to learn another way. Alternatively, the Integrating Adult ego state can just stop any negative dialogue and decide to develop another positive Parent ego state perhaps taken in from other people they have met over the years.

Child ego state

The Child ego state is a set of behaviours, thoughts and feelings which are replayed from our own childhood.

Perhaps the boss calls us into his or her office, we may immediately get a churning in our stomach and wonder what we have done wrong. If this were explored we might remember the time the head teacher called us in to tell us off. Of course, not everything in the Child ego state is negative. We might go into someone's house and smell a lovely smell and remember our grandmother's house when we were little, and all the same warm feelings we had at six year's of age may come flooding back.

Both the Parent and Child ego states are constantly being updated. For example, we may meet someone who gives us the permission we needed as a child, and did not get, to be fun and joyous. We may well use that person in our imagination when we are stressed to counteract our old ways of thinking that we must work longer and longer hours to keep up with everything. We might ask ourselves "I wonder what X would say now". Then on hearing the new permissions to relax and take some time out, do just that and then return to the work renewed and ready for the challenge. Subsequently, rather than beating up on ourselves for what we did or did not do, what tends to happen is we automatically start to give ourselves new permissions and take care of ourselves.

Alternatively, we might have had a traumatic experience yesterday which goes into the Child ego state as an archaic memory that hampers our growth. Positive experiences will also go into the Child ego state as archaic memories. The positive experiences can then be drawn on to remind us that positive things do happen.

The process of analysing personality in terms of ego states is called structural analysis. It is important to remember that ego states do not have an existence of their own, they are concepts to enable understanding. Therefore it is important to say "I want some fun" rather than "My Child wants some fun". We may be in our Child ego state when we say this, but saying "I" reminds us to take responsibility for our actions.

IN a strange world where such things are to become part of our analysis of subjective experience will we have created the perfect human being? Such models becme the logic structure of new computerized systems of thinking that will somehow recognize these factors in the human beings that we are, to have it done better in a traditional methods of logic, formed around and in computerized thinking.

Science and TA by Chris Boyd
Do we selectively ignore other models from artificial intelligence such as Zadeh's Fuzzy Logic? This is a logic used to model perception and used in newly designed "smart" cameras. Where standard logic must give a true or false value to every proposition, fuzzy logic assigns a certainty value between zero and one to each of the propositions, so that we say a statement is .7 true and .3 false. Is this theory selectively ignored to support our theories?

I had engaged this kind of exercise on my own, as I moved through different research avenues trying to piece together in my own mind, a process held in context of these neighborhoods, and such. How such interactive phases might have been thought about in science procedures. Looking at the basis of this logic, I was looking to find comparsions for this thinking in which the foundational perspectives might make sense.

Science and TA by Chris Boyd
If deduction is another way of knowing in TA, where and when is it applicable? Berne did use Venn diagrams, circles either distinct or overlapping, which were borrowed directly from symbolic logic to visually describe transactions. Perhaps TA in part can be considered a theory that analyzes ones own deductions based on childhood primitive assumptions. Perhaps it focuses on how people become irrational in decision making. In this case, TA provides critical thinking skills for human relations and can be considered a basis for analyzing the accuracy of our reality testing. Much as mathematics provides the language for science, TA may provide the logic for human relations and can be at least in part a deductive language.

Now as usual I did not have many to direct my thinking as I was developing thought processes, that the statements I highlighted were recognized as features I myself found along the journey to make sense of characteristic features we have of our thinking minds.

As you see clicking on John Venn's picture I would like to draw science into how I am seeing to support this "model of thinking." For clear and consise methods incorporating that clear mind.

Do we have to be robots with parts of ourselves missing from the supposed framework of that perfect being? This is what makes us unique in our perspectives as we move forward and share our point of views. We would have had to have been you to become who you are today. So it is never easy to see and be all that you want everyone to be.
